Dive into an authentic Salvadoran culinary journey at this restaurant where the spotlight is undoubtedly on their pupusas. These aren't just any pupusas; they exude the warmth and soul of homemade comfort, standing out with a non-greasy texture that sets them apart from the competition. The staff complements the dining experience with genuine friendliness, making you feel right at home. If you're on a quest for the best pupusas in town, look no further. This place comes with a hearty recommendation for anyone seeking a genuine taste of El Salvador. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I order from this place a lot. Nobody can hold a candle to El Salvadoreño. I went to Texas for training & craved pupusas or got some at a place late at night when this place was closed but nobody can compare to this place. This place is the absolute best. The pupusas, the rice, the plantains, the portions, it’s all so amazing & perfect. This is my favorite place & I literally order like every other day from here. Everything is so fresh & flavorful. If you want Salvadoran food, get it here. This place does a beautiful job Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great restaurant freshly made food. I would of given five star but I dont like when they add there tip on your check. I ordered a steak with onion ..but there was a pile of onion bigger than the steak itself, even though the steak was small it was good and juicy. I also ordered pupusas. Love them they service them with red sauce and curtido( pickle Cole slaw ). The place was renovated recently. They took the pool table out, its was nice to have while you waited for your food, they do take long to prepare because it's made to order.

Ordered "grilled chicken in creamy sauce" got a boiled bone in thigh and leg with what looked like milk poured over it, the chicken was pink when i cut it and sent it back, they refused to let me order something else or my money back, horrible customer service, never coming back here. I have never sent food back but this was an exception. Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Service: 1

The food was good but the service was not worth the visit. The waitress / “owner” had a horrible attitude. I’d rather walk from West Haven to Bridgeport for some good pupusas than to bring my family here again. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100+

First time ordering here and we got 4 pupusas and they were delicious! Will definitely be coming back! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Let's start on a bright note: - The food was absolutely delicious! We had pupusas and caldo de res. Authentic & tasty. I felt like i was back home again. Now onto the bad parts: - There was only one waitress serving multiple groups, so wait time was very long and she had a very snarky attitude. - It was freezing inside, no heat was on & i might as well have eaten outside. - With the money saved on heat maybe they should think about creating a designated parking area. - The food was more expensive than what was on the menu. While only raised by a few dollars, it felt very disingenuous; Each plate was more expensive than advertised. - i asked for water & was given a water bottle that was charged for. No where on the menu was that stated. - i was also never given a napkin Eating at any restaurant is still meant to be an experience, this one was a bad one. As nice as the food was, I have no intention of ever going back. Perhaps takeout is the best option at this place Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

The prices are a little absurd per pupusas. The food is good and all but I can't justify the money. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Incredibly delicious food! I had the tostadas, pupusas, and an apple soda. Everything was just so tasty, down to the rice, beans, and plantains. Very reasonably priced as well, with kind and helpful staff. Only downside is there's no parking, so be prepared to park at the gas station next door. But no big deal! Will absolutely be returning every chance I get. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20
