El Galeón is an excellent restaurant located in the marina of Ixtapa. With a stunning view of the boats and the sea, it is the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner or a meal with friends and family. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is delicious. The menu offers a variety of seafood dishes, such as lobster bisque, tuna steak, and shrimp with chipotle sauce. There are also pasta dishes, steaks, and tacos. The Caesar salad is made tableside and is a Mexican tradition. The wine selection is also great and the margaritas are one of the best. Desserts are also worth trying. El Galeón is definitely worth the visit and is sure to provide a memorable dining experience.

The nicest staff, so gracious. Food was great. Really nice to sit by the marina and enjoy wine and champagne before dinner. This is a gem of a restaurant. We will be coming back to try the Mahi soon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a wonderful restaurant at the marina. The staff are excellent! I appreciated their friendly and very helpful service. I’ve eaten here twice and both times were excellent. The Alex’s salad and spinach salad were so fresh and had a light, tasty citrus dressing. The mahi mahi with a lightly spiced mango sauce, rice pilaf and seasoned vegetables were excellent. The lasagna was also excellent and was so flavorful. It’s lovely watching the boats motor around the marina and seeing the sun set. I highly recommend this restaurant! Our last evening out in beautiful Ixtapa, we ate at El Galeon. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Salads, lasagne, beef tenderloin, crepe desert were fabulous. The ambience by the marina was peaceful and our servers were great. We highly recommend this place, as we ate here two years ago and also had a good meal then, along with fabulous service. We will come again.
