Food was great, menus had English and Spanish on them. The wait staff was nice. Get the passion fruit lemonade. You will not regret it. It's huge! But the most delicious thing I've had in all of Puerto Rico. The mofongo was good but that passion fruit lemonade made my day! Parking can be a bit tight and if you have a low clearance car, you might consider parking on the street instead of in front of the restaurant. We were on our way to Rincon from San Juan and decided to stop for some.local fare. We absolutely loved the delicious home-cooked Criollo. Mofongo with shrimp, tostones, rice and beans, sorrullitos (corn nuggets), chicken a la plancha, chuleta. Incredible. Our server was sweet and patient with us as we navigated the menu. Wii ok s this was really good. I didn’t know what to order. My wife helped me since she knows Spanish. I wouldn’t have ordered the creole sauce, but she did. And it was good. Probably the best I’ve had while traveling. As an outsider to the culture, I only know what my stomach tells me is good. And it says this is good. Great even. It’s outside only. If I knew that I would have avoided the place. I like inside and the air conditioner. Beware of the mosquitos. There were a ton. We got there and there was a small line. By the time we got our food there were 10 plus people. What encouraged me upon arrival was the fact military members were eating there. I know they know where good food is. Even police showed up to get food before we left. We were clearly the only lost tourists. It was the only place to have Coke Zero. All around very good food. Affordable prices too.

Possibly the best mofongo I have had in all my visits (and boy, have I tried a lot of mofongo places). The owner is so sweet, and she made sure we were well taken care of. This place was amazing!!! The mofongo was incredible and the people were friendly. This restaurant definitely seemed like a more local place, which is what I tend to look for. If you venture outside of San Juan, I very highly recommend trying this restaurant out. I also recommend trying either the chicken or the fish mofongo, they are both incredible!

Some of the best food you can get in this area. The carne frita here is to die for. Just know the place is very popular and on the weekends...especially sundays can be super packed,so you may have to wait a bit,but the truth is its worth it. Great service,our waiter was the best,and the food is great as well.
