The food is acceptable in terms of taste. It's quite cold. Maybe they prepared it early but it could be nice if they make it fresh. Fries is stone cold. The meat that we ordered was medium but it came to us rare. Other than that, it was okay.
Overall, it was an okay experience. Food could be better but still acceptable.

First time went here in 2019 (presumably at the previous location). The food was nice and tasty. A new experince eating something that other western food restaurant don't normally serve (quattro formaggi dishes).
However, the taste of the food when I went here recently is still delicious but the portion is getting smaller than I used to have. Another thing, maybe because of the new staff here, they're quite incompetent to be honest, and need to be trained more.
The beverages came later than our food, which was a bummer. Had to call for the owner (presumably) to enquire about our drinks. But the drinks were nice, though...
Maybe if the service and the staff work a little bit more efficient, I'll raise up the rating in the future. The main important thing is to 'support business Melayu'!

It was our last day of Ramadan. We were looking for lemang and found this cafe for iftar. We had big appetite for steak, lamb chop, carbonara spaghetti and chicken parmigiana. All good and satisfying. Love the ambience too
Out of curiosity - as we take the Kota Warisan road every day, we decided to give El Boney a shot. The crew was so friendly, well mannered (and cool), and explains the menu very well. Taste wise, the lambs were good, the dips/sauce were better 😆 you have to try the herb butter. The Aglio Olia was verh spicy BUT we were warned before ordering (yes, we highly appreciate that). I also love it when a restaurant have kids' menu, we went for the nuggets, something simple for the little one. You can give their fancy drinks a shot, it's good, but a tad sweet for us.

The spaghetti carbonara tasted like bland mushroom soup, and the chili wedges were almost burned with a watery tomato sauce passing off as chili. Overall, I'd rate it 3/10, with the only redeeming factor being the good hospitality

Ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Clean and comfortable setting. The play really good rock music as well. However, the place isn't very well ventilated which causes the smell of food to stick to your clothes. Food isn't terrible but it isn't fantastic either. There is a clear effort on presentation and plating, however the food can taste a little bland. I tried the carbonara and couldn't really taste much. The chicken tasted really nice however it was very little. Prices of the food is decent for Italian food. The iced chocolate was actually really good. The staff are equally as friendly! Would go and try if you are in the area but I wouldn't drive out all the way to eat it
Mr Boney is very nice and funny. We had the hanabero chicken, dory with herbs sauce, grandmother mushroom soup and garlic bread. Had a great time chatting with funny owner, Mr Boney. Thanks for 5 stars service! Ms EL is also so warm and friendly 👍
