Decided to try this place for the first time a couple weeks back and have been back again already; first time with a reservation and second time was able to get a table as a walk-in, but it got busy quickly. Ambience is nice. Free bread was really good, had meatballs for appetizer and they were a bit small for the price. Had Caesar salad and lasagna (both times) for main course. It was quite good (I always add some pepper flakes for a bit of extra spice no matter where I go) and a decent quantity for sure. Service was really good, everyone was very friendly. Drinks were refilled without even asking for it and the course timing for service was spot on. South Point is a great casino and one of the few with ample free parking, so that’s a definite bonus as well. We’ll be back… Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A wonderful Italian restaurant within the SouthPoint Casino. Avoid any wait and make a reservation and request a booth. Cozy round booths! Excellent service! Great wine choices, including a delicious Edna Valley Cab at a decent price per bottle. For those staying in the hotel, I understand there is a coupon available for free wine. Other reviewers said the restaurant was dark. We didn’t find it dark at all. It is a bigger sized restaurant so it doesn’t feel cramped or overcrowded even when busy. Delicious bread basket and accompaniments. The meatball appetizer (photo only shows one; sorry, we devoured the others) was delicious and fresh made - not frozen - with a delicious tomato sauce. Caesar Salad is assembled and tossed table-side, with optional anchovies. Just delicious! The Eggplant Parmesan was perfectly done - not mushy at all. It was fresh and delicious! The Linguine Clams were delicious also! Over 20 clams in shells, plus more in the sauce and noodles. None were rubbery in the least! I went for the white sauce, which was a good choice , as it really let the flavors come through! We enjoyed every morsel and every minute at Don Vito’s. We will be back. I would highly recommend. The best way to get a table here is to make a reservation. The prices aren't bad considering it's a nicer sit down restaurant. I got the Don's Margarita - it was yummy and only $8.75. The Chicken Angelo was decent and not dry - it was $26 and you also get soup or salad and a side of veggies or pasta. The pasta side had marinara sauce that wasn't flavorful, but the Caesar salad made up for it, although the amount of dressing was a little overwhelming. The garlic bread appetizer was $7 and was a must get... Honestly my favorite part of the meal. The atmosphere is relaxing with dim lighting and the waiters were very pleasant. Even though it was nice, I would recommend trying it if you're staying at South Point and want something convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way. I have better food at a hospital food court and the service was just as bad if not worse. If it wasn't for the steak that was cooked at the steakhouse next door would have been no Stars. Save your money and go to olive garden for better Italian food. They had us seated without a menu (for about seven minutes) and asked what we would like to drink then we ordered drink with toys a menu once the waitress arrived she asked if we needed menus. yes thank you that would be awesome as this is our first time here. The hostess comes back and says she has a bad case of pregnancy brain that's why she didn't give us menus imagine using it as an excuse to give poor service. Also ordering a dessert seemed to be too much work for the staff they didn't know how to complete that request , (very odd) and when asked to forget about it never mind, that was also very hard to do as well a lot of are you sure? The streak house so much better service and food. Ps they let a drunk guy yell to the whole restaurant about buying Chevy brand cars and go around hugging female patrons. Great lil Italian place off the strip. The hotel has a coupon for a free bottle of wine with 2 entrees. Food was great, for a reasonable price. Staff was extra friendly Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Caesar Salad
This place is amazing! Service, food, ambiance, everything. Started with some bread and a garlic, tomato, olive oil type chutney (amazing btw), shrimp cocktail for an appetizer (also amazing). Ceasar salad (made true tableside) is the best ever! I had my favorite, Eggplant Parmigian and hubs had the classic lasagna. I will definitely ne back to try everything on the menu. The service and ambience were fine. The food on the other hand was horrible. I had the Chilean Sea Bass. It tasted like a fish stick. We also had the Chicken Parmesan, chicken tasted rubbery and sauce straight from the jar. We literally only took the tasting bite and left the rest. They did not offer an alternative solution. I would not recommend those items. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Caesar Salad

Bread basket = nice! Caesar salad = great! Lasagna = skip. Mushy, no specific flavor Tiramisu = fun. Pretty, but again…mushy Service = EXCELLENT! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Caesar Salad
The service and food here are quite good. It is inside the South Point, and only serves dinner. Prices are reasonable by Las Vegas strip standards; dinner for two with a cocktail and a glass of wine was about $150. Loved the antipasto board, and their caprese salad. Cocktails were very tasty too. Our only complaint is that our two entrees were just kind of OK. Nothing wrong with them, just not wowed like we were with the appetizers, sides, and dessert (get the pineapple upside down cake)! I would suggest a reservation, they can get pretty busy. Yesterday, I called at least 5 different Italian restaurants. Having a party of 8 and one with an onion allergy requires some pre-planning. After having a wonderful conversation with Chef Kevin, who assured us their veal piccatta could be made onion free (my mom's favorite dish) we made our reservation for 6:30pm. Two thirds of us arrived on time. The rest at 6:45pm. The restaurant was just over half full. Our table was set for 7. It is the slowest service I have received. We ordered rather promptly and very tasty breads were brought quickly. However, after that drinks, salad/soup, main course were glacial. We didn't get served until 8:30pm AND were told by our server that the veal piccatta *could not* be made onion free though we were told *the exact opposite*. I don't know who was incorrect but we were upset. Most of our meals were fine, though a mix of too hot, just right, and cold (when supposed to be hot.) Which was a theme, my cappuccino came horribly tepid. The Alfredo sauce is bland. No parmesean nor garlic to be tasted. I enjoyed the pesto and whatever my mom had was good, though no where near as good as the dream piccatta. My portion size was incredibly small for the price. Others had leftovers, I did not. The bill was picked up by another in our party, so I don't know if they comped anything for the abysmal service and incorrectly cold food.
