Besides the restaurant/pizzeria you can visit the cellar when you can taste wines (Malvasia, Refosco, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet, etc.) and especially suggestive, very aromatic and much stronger spirits made from grapes.

Really great home made fuzi with truffles, polenta with deer stew, cheese case and strudel. Simple menu of local pasta and meet, cold cuts, straightforward salad (with one or two calamari dishes in there). Really worth the curvy road. We went for a wine tasting and also took dinner. It was an amazing experience with a great host! We will definitely come back!
We stopped for lunch on our way to Croatia and were surprised by how good the food was. The dishes with truffels are not too expensive and contain good amounts of truffles. Definitely worth a visit if you have time for the slightly longer than average time you need to wait for waiters and your food.
We had a vine tasting: The vine was excellent the staff was super friendly and competent. We had dinner there for three days: We can highly recommend the gnocchi with truffles.
Bad service, they ignored me and my company. After we ordered food, after 50 min of waiting for simple apetizer bread and parsuto we asked what is happening, their answer was that they are working on it, after another 10min or more they came and told us that they did not do it and that our main dish is prepared and they will serve it. The meat was ower cooked and smeld bad we couldn’t ate half of the stuff on plate. This was actualy my second visit, the first was also bad, but I wanted to give them another try cos of possible bad day or something they are overrated and do not deserve more than two stars. Worst service in my life. All around are not cleaned surfaces and full of spider webs full of dust. There are a lot of superb restaurants in the area and Slovenia but for this one “run away as fast as you can”. I hope they will change.

Very good place to eat. When you eat here you need to order red wine Refoško or white wine Malvazija. In the season you can eat here deer, bear (yes you read it OK, you can eat bear), wild pig... Or you can eat normal chicken, pork,... For desert I recomend panacota with truffles and figs... You won't be disappointed.
Hosts are great! We had consomme, mushroom soup, three meat specialties, salad and it was more than enough. Plus, it was delicious. You should definitely try their wine, although teranino is my favourite or refosk liquer as they call it ( I think).

What a surprise! Fantastic local products, especially the « prsut » and truffles… Excellent wines… Reasonable bill. We discovered this place while we travelled through Buzet (Croatia, coming from Pula) and going to Venezia. Better to stop there than to spend some hours in traffic jam driving via Koper! We highly recommend this very good and typical restaurant.
It was our second stay at this nice place and we really looking forward for our next stay. Nice and clean rooms. The breakfast is also worth it. The meals and pizzas are really great. You should try the local vine and some schnaps :) Highly recommended!
