DiOrio's was recommended to me , and I'm so glad they did. I had the "Little Piggy" specialty pizza, and it was loaded with meat. I called in my order and they were very professional and descriptive. Unfortunately, I have very mixed feelings. I still like the taste of the pizza, but it is just such a poor value that I can’t justify eating there. Obviously prices have increased everywhere, but I just can’t justify Diorio’s anymore. My purchase today was a slice of pizza that has definitely gotten smaller and head very little cheese on it. I've eaten at DiOrio's several times and always enjoyed the food and service. They sell made to order large pizza slices with ingredients you select - slice is adequate size and made fresh and delicious. Often, I order the hot brown pizza slice; it's a wonderful taste twist on a Louisville tradition - the Hot Brown. Tonight, I ordered the lasagna with salad and garlic toast, and I can tell you I will be ordering it again - very soon! The lasagna was mouth watering and exceptionally tasty with a perfect balance of ingredients for my preference. My friend ordered the same and was also impressed by the quality and taste. Every time I've been there many others are there and seeming to also enjoy the delicious food and friendly service ...and if you need to keep up with a sports event, tvs are on the walls and above the bar. Edit: I am changing my review of everything to 1 Star due to the owner being unwilling to assess my complaints properly. I called in asking to leave some words about the issue to see if there would be a resolution. The owner did not call me back until just after their "PoS system" would not "let them" accommodate my party's complaints for the mediocre food, and all she did was make poor excuses whilst sounding offended when I told her the food was "okay at best" this particular visit. How convenient that I called the following day and she waited until it was too late for me to be helped. The owner of this location is scummy and her ethics are questionable at best. I will be avoiding all DiOrio's locations in the future thanks to the poor follow-up service, if you could even call it that, and you should avoid it as well. Original review: The food is mediocre. Sauces like marinara and "beer cheese" have been obviously frozen. We ordered an order of "D's fried balls", which were great, breadsticks with "beer cheese" (which was separated, again, had already been frozen before and then reheated, and smelled so bad that everyone was afraid to taste said "beer cheese"), a philly steak pizza, and one pizza with half cheese and half mushrooms. The breadsticks were a significant downgrade to the fried balls, the pizza toppings were largely flavorless, and the pizzas were lacking sauce to bring the cheese and dough together. The only redeeming quality to the pizzas was the garlic sauce we got with our fried balls and breadsticks, which was not even made in-house, instead being a pre-packed dipping cup made by another company. We did not dine in, so I cannot speak appropriately on the service or atmosphere, especially as I'm not one for pub-types. It did, however, take me awhile to be noticed by staff when I was waiting at the counter to pick up my order. Overall, this place, or perhaps just this location, should be avoided. Local pizza establishment. Service was fine but there was only one or two server's working so no fault of hers. Food tasted very good. Lots of sports on the TVs and the place was very crowded, which is a good thing. Mixed drink are niiiicely poured. The gluten-free pizza is amazing! Cool vibe and music. Customer service is friendly. Highly recommend especially for gluten free pizza, it's the bomb. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

Loved the sweet and heat pizza. However the jalapeños are pickled (I think) which gives it a very acidic- vinegar flavor instead of good jalapeño flavor. Which made parts heavily covered in jalapeños taste like vinegar infused jalapeños. Not the worst but not ideal I guess. I think it would taste better with fresh jalapeños vice jar or canned pickled ones. The crust is also not the greatest but the pizza had lots of cheese and toppings which make it delicious and easy to enjoy. Even one slice of the gibbon size was filling enough for lunch.
