My second trip here for lunch and I will definitely go back! The quality and taste of the food is amazing, and the service is terrific--my water was never empty. Don't hesitate to try this place. A welcome addition to this area of town!

A lovely surprise, Dhaba Kitchen has it all. Wonderful flavors, friendly staff, generous portions and affordable prices. I brought my coworkers here for a birthday celebration, and the food was exquisite. Everything smelled and tasted so good, I honestly forgot to even take photos! We had a wide range of spiciness preferences, and they balanced the spice levels well for everyone. If you want to get into Indian food, or are already a fan, you should try Dhaba Kitchen in person!

I have enjoyed Dhaba carry-out and dine-in. It’s a relaxed, bright, family-friendly atmosphere. The smells of the food are so scrumptious! The taste, variety of Indian dishes and overall presentation are amazing. The staff are nice but I wouldn’t say the service itself above and beyond. I highly recommend for some yummy meals!

Chicken Tikka Masala
The scents and taste of the food brought me back to when I was living in the Kgalgadi Desert in Southern Africa. I became friends with a family from India running a general store in Tsabong. They invited me over for many home cooked meals. The food from Dhaba was that authentic and that good. I had the Chicken Tamboori. It was excellent! The staff was very professional yet polite and friendly. It was well worth the trip following a 5 mile bike ride with my son and granddaughter. They loved the place too.

Chicken Tandoori
Great experience all around. Waitstaff are friendly and fast. Menu has just the right amount of variation without being overwhelming. They have lovely lamb and chicken curries. I had the chicken mango and my wife had the lamb shahi korma. Spice rating is on point. Naan is flavorful - we had regular and aloo). The atmosphere is on the fancier side, which made for a nicer dining experience. If you're a fan of Indian food, I highly recommend this place. Extra points since my wife is British and has high standards for both Indian food and lamb.

The food and ambiance leave a lot of be desired.
The vegetables in my tandoori were cold, undercooked, sliced into unmanageably huge chunks, and slathered in vegetable oil. The dominant flavor of the dish was vegetable oil. The chicken was okay, but rather bland.
The portions were huge! My plate was enough for three people. I felt that they were compensating for quality by giving me quantity. I would rather receive a smaller amount of food, but of excellent quality.
They keep the door open between the entryway and the dining area, so that you're hit with a blast of frigid air every time someone enters the building. To compensate for this, they crank the temperature in the dining room. Why not just keep the door closed?
Throughout the duration of my meal, there was a guy sitting next to the cash register, not eating, just talking loudly on his cell phone.

The food at both the Dhaba locations are always amazing and my favorite in the Madison area! After trying Indian food for the first time less than 2 years ago it’s easily become the cuisine I enjoy the most! Highly recommend Dhaba for anyone who loves Indian food or if it’s your first time!
