Order good onion strings. You will enjoy its food, particularly perfectly cooked sundaes. The success of this fast food would be impossible without competent employees. Prompt service is something visitors like here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with adequate prices at Dairy Queen. As clients see it, the atmosphere is lovely here. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

Happy to find I good DQ close. Came in just after the rush and still got fresh fries and steak fingers hot from the fryer. The food running the place were nice and friendly. Only thing was the dining room could have used a little clean up, but there were currently cleaning up behind the counter, so maybe it was just still on the list. Love DQ. But last time I ordered a single meat cheeseburger and it tasted ok. I like mustard but overall they've always put too much on and made it sloppy. I guess I have to ask them light on the mustard please. I'll always stop in whenever I feel like it. So deflated! Went to the drive-through today to order my regular dairy queen order, which is a medium vanilla hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge. Very easy basic order and what I got was a small sundae with very little hot fudge. Food: 4 Service: 3

The food was amazing but it took 15 mins to get 2 meals and there was nobody at the window the whole time until they handed us our food. There was no apology for the wait or a "I gave you some free ranch" nothing. Again the food is great, but if you have a time limit I would not recommend. Textbook definition of a hometown DQ. I've been there several times at different times of day and the food is ALWAYS piping hot, served with a smile, and the place is clean for being as old as it is. Nice building with great location. Sadly, this DQ has a horrible time finding and keeping managers and employees. Have tried to dine here several times over the years and just bad experiences every single time. Takes forever to get order. Half the time something is incorrect with the order. I love Hickey's Dairy Queen better than the regular DQ in town. Hickey is just who owns this one. Love the tacos and onion rings here. So if you're in Mineral Wells and want Dairy Queen, this one is where you need to stop at.
