Awesome! Wow! We loved this restaurant. A group of us brought wine from a nearby liquor store to have alcohol with our meal (it’s BYOB). Our meals were outstanding. I had the chefs salad with chicken and shrimp, several had Bronze Salmon and the dynamite shrimp, and one had the crab cake. Everyone cleaned their plate!! The service was outstanding - friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance was very hip with great music. Love real tablecloths and napkins! We’ll be back!! We wanted to do a girls brunch this past weekend and we were not sure where to go. My fiancés brother told us to try this place because he went and had nothing but great things to say about it. We walked in without a reservation and they very kind to offer us a table. There is a 11.00 entrance fee which we were a little taken back by. The hostess said it was for their day party but it didn’t feel like a day party. There was a DJ who was playing all the good songs. We all got the rum punch which was amazing and definitely gives you a nice buzz. I would go back again. Service was great, food was great and the drinks were great. Ivy and many times at their Old City location the other day I ordered from doordash from the other location cuz that's the one that's on your days and when I received my shrimp trio it was sprinkled with moldy cheese which means they cooked my food with old expired cheese I am disgusted that a black restaurant wouldn't check their food and serve people old moldy cheese I am thoroughly disgusted and you really need to do better as a business and stop drowning your food and obey obey is not a season to dry your food in you don't draw your food and saltiness it's ridiculous think you need to reevaluate your kitchen and I called the chef and all he could do is say sorry he should be embarrassed that he is serving the public moldy cheese and all you can do is say sorry you really need to do better do better for your people Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Service: 1

My lady and I went to Cray in ole city. The service and the food was fantastic. Our waitress Mia paid attention to every little detail. We had so much fun I told my lady I would buy another entrée just to sit there for another hour. Dot the DJ was playing some great music. And I got to meet Mom she was so nice. So I will most definitely be back. And I’m going to tell all my clients that come to my barber shop about Cray taste all city. Meal type Brunch

I brought my wife here to celebrate her birthday; it was our first time. We were properly greeted by the hostess, Kendra. She was very personable and lively. Our server, Bridgette gave us great service and offered some great suggestions; the food was phenomenal! I had the mumbo glazed salmon and my wife had the cray crab cakes. Just a few suggestions: 1. You should have a few physical menus on hand for those who aren’t technologically savvy. (Not us though) 2. The music created a great vibe for us, but there were a few songs the were uncensored which I saw the family behind us who had kids were kinda shocked. We were told it’s not normally like that during dinner. So just keep that in mind for future references. 3. There was a 20% gratuity automatically added. I’m not sure if I saw that on the menu. As a tipped employee myself, I don’t mind leaving a generous tip, but that should be disclosed upfront, but I can’t remember if it was on the menu or not. I can see it being both good and bad. Good because your servers will make their money, but you leave yourself open to criticisms and headaches, especially if service is bad. Overall, I’m glad we dined with Cray Taste and we’ll definitely return to try other menu items.

Their food is definitely gourmet for a little corner spot. Sadly, recent reviews and pictures are in regard to the market street location. I've been at the market street location to dine once, and I've ordered consistently from the North Philly location since it's closer to me. However, I think they have recently closed down this location, as they have not been open in the past 2-3 weeks. Cray tatse is a delight. Hands down if any breakfast store deserves a 5 star they are it. The food and presentation is amazing and delicious but the secret is in the sauce. My fave thing to order is the steak and eggs platter the gravy sauce used is sooo good. I also love to order the salmon cakes and grits and the chicken and waffles. The gentleman who presents the orders is kind has great customer service and always makes sure to communicate effectively and politely the lady who takes the orders always greets me with a smile. I love this store and recommend this place for a great meal!

I have been here multiple times because the food is actually really good when it’s hot, which is hit or miss. I want to support black business, but damn. Even with knowing this, I still try to support. But this will be the very LAST TIME I WILL EVER COME HERE. It took over a 1 1/2 to get appetizers. My appetizers was the only hot one at the table. And even as I write this at the table, we still have no entrees. Normally the owner is very good about coming to the table & talking with customers & always apologizing for the wait per usual, he still has yet to come to our table. This is the longest I’ve ever had to wait & it’s no where crowded at all. My God, what will a packed house look like, with the wait. If you order any drink (alcoholic or not) once it’s gone you gonna drink your spot because they don’t come & refill drinks or take additional drink orders. I’m just beyond disappointed. The two entrees that have did come to the table, the broccoli was either burnt or undercooked. I feel like if you looking for a mixy vibe to twerk, smoke hookah, get drunk & take flicks at the flower wall then this is the place for you because you won’t care to wait. If you are unable to accommodate the request of no onions and no peppers and to have my items well done reach out. And what about no toppings on my waffle was hard to do, I don’t like soggy bread.This is about to be the worst breakfast because someone cannot read simple instructions. Hopefully this review will be taken in a way that adjustments can be made to make this restaurant better. We went to the Market St location. My husband and I went here for dinner. We didn't know it was a BYOB place which was our fault but I'm glad we did not bring a bottle because a $25 corkage fee is crazy. Then to automatically charge 20% gratuity for 2 people and the service was not great is also crazy. We waited a while for someone to even attend to us then waited over 30 minutes for just our appetizers and longer for our meal. Honestly, I wouldn't have even stayed if it wasn't for the fact that the neighboring restaurants did not have any openings. It was busy in there but staff were sitting at the bar doing hookah with guests and hanging out. Even if it's the kitchen staff that's behind, it's not a good look. The only reason why I'm giving them 2 stars is because the honey lemon wings were GREAT! But our dinner was just okay. Unfortunately, we will not be coming back.
