Restaurant is newly open. Nice atmosphere but the it was so loud in the restaurant. Unable to have a conversation without almost yelling. It was interesting as the bar was full and no place to grab a drink, so we went to the tasting area and asked for a bottle of wine. I ordered 4 glasses of wine and asked if they’re gonna give us the bottle price rather than the individual glass price. The manager said that they cannot give us the bottle price in tasting area and drink them in the tasting room? Odd. But, it was a $27 difference in price. 4 glasses of wine was $67 and the bottle was $39..doesn’t make a lot of sense as a customer. The food was pretty tasty and nice size portions. Servers are still learning but, one of the better openings I have been to. One dish came out incorrect, but was overly impressed with Drew, a manager as he took care of the issue and went above and beyond to ensure we walked out happy! Thanks. It is hard to find service like that in Madison…very refreshing! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We visited on opening day and had a great experience! Really love the layout of the tasting room here and how spacious it is, very excited there is a location in the Madison area now! They have a great selection of wine and we had an awesome time with Jack, he was very helpful and patient with us while we enjoyed our tasting. Highly recommend the house made chocolate truffles, the dark chocolate is the absolute best but I love that they have a monthly option also and change it up depending on the season. We did also dine in for lunch and our server, Francis was awesome! They did a great job at recommendations from the menu. I greatly appreciate how kid friendly they are also for a more upscale space, they even have a family restroom! We really enjoyed our entire visit and experience and can’t wait to come back! A few things to be aware of is it is a pricier dining experience and they do push the wine club but if you love wine, it really is worth it! Additionally, reservations are a must! Even if you don’t think you need them or it’s a smaller group, I still recommend calling ahead to make sure they have a table available. Cooper's Hawk in Middleton just opened this week! Such a beautiful space. The tasting area is much more spacious than the one in Milwaukee. We ordered : Roasted Chilean sea bass Soy ginger Atlantic salmon Crispy Brussels Sprouts Reese's ice cream cookie Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I wish I could give 3.5 stars. The food is excellent. We really loved the candied bacon & cheese board. It could use more crostini to be able to scoop up all the delicious cheese. I was impressed by the Napa Chicken salad, and I don't usually love salads. Service was uneven. Hoping this will improve with time, because we would like to come back a second time. No one mentioned anything about the wine club to us. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Food is a little pricey and smaller portions but pretty decent tasting (especially for madison). The restaurant is very beautifully set up and decorated. Staff seems friendly and fast. This could be a nice place for special occasions. Service Dine in Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Def make reservations. It was busy at 4:45pm. The place has a very clean and has an upscale feel. But in my opinion food and drinks were priced and portioned perfectly. I had a surf n turf option with pretzel encrusted pork chop and a pistachio encrusted grouper. The dish was properly portioned and everything was a burst of flavor. The Grouper stood out even though it was all delicious. My mom had the Mahi Mahi in a coconut sauce. She ate her whole meal. We sampled some wines and they softly pushed a wine club upgrade. Which at first, I thought was a little tacky. But, after reading the little brochure it's a good deal if you like wine. I could see some of my family being into this. They also have a large wine bar upon entry you can spend time at before or after your meal to sample other wines and purchase bottles and wine related stuff. Our server was very nice and did not rush us. She explained everything and checked in on us to our satisfaction. I also had their margarita. It was very good and came in a tall glass which was surprising. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pretzel-Crusted Pork Chops

Top notch experience! They had a huge menu with interesting options and a great wine list all of which were available by the glass. For dinner I got the pistachio crusted grouper, which is hard to find so far north. It was delicious! Can't wait to go back! While a huge fan of Tim McEnery and Coopers Hawk, this new Middleton location was (and felt) different. No windows in the long entry way/tasting room felt a bit claustrophic/less inviting. Ate at dark bar, which also had no windows. (Brookfield location has happier/more open vibe). Had to request complimentary pretzel bread. Potstickers arrived more cooked/chewy/tougher to cut, but were still tasty with my Blanc de Blanc. Noticed that I was incorrectly charged more than double for my meal and drink. Lead bartender reassured it would not go through (which it did), but for which I was credited. She also comp'd my drink. Understanding this location recently opened, am forgiving of some issues. Hoping for better things in the future. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Bubbles
