Enjoyed a good meal with family at Cool Hand Luke’s. Steak was perfectly prepared and seasoned. The bloom was great as well as the salad. The beef stew was tasty and the service was spectacular. Amazing! Beanz N' Biscuits would've been quite a nice meal, but that the starter before the appetizer. Great Service, Positive Staff, Excellent Food! We've lived in the area for several years, so tonight we thought we would give them a shot for our wedding anniversary. It was the absolute worst steak I've ever had! I ordered the porterhouse cooked medium . It came out well done, I explained to the waitress, and she had them re cook a new one only to come back with the same disappointment of it being overcooked. My wife ordered the rib eye medium rare, and it was served undercooked as rare.The steak and added toppers were covered in so much buttery season salt. I could literally scrape it off my steak. There is no sear on the steak, just a big grey mess for both attempts. The bacon in the mac n cheese tasted as if it came out of a bag from Hormel. 100% not cooked in house I guaranteed that.The Blooming onion batter was so thick at the base it didn't even cook and was more of a flour paste. Two sodas, appetizer, entrees, and two premium sides later after tip was 175 dollars. For those prices, I expect top-notch food but not even close.
