Came by for some 9PM dessert after grabbing dinner at DTF in Valley Fair. We got: -pink apple crumble $6.58: not bad, nice crust -fruit tart $7.94: good! Pricier end for pastries since it's in Santana Row. Seating available inside and outside. All parking options available. Ended up getting easy street parking.

The dessert was very good. My wife and I both agree on that as well. 😁 The coffee however seemed very watered down, definitely wasn't worth it. I would have been better off getting a cup from Starbucks right around the corner. My wife and I went again on June 23rd. It seemed odd when I was looking at the cakes in the glass case, they all seem smaller. Then I looked at the prices, and those seemed higher. I could be wrong, but since my wife and I were already there we decided to get one of their small cakes. I think next time we will pay the same amount or just a little bit more and get a piece of cheesecake from the cheesecake Factory that's about three times or maybe even four times the size of the piece of cake we got. I will admit, it was still delicious.

Very quiet, calming area with not a lot of people inside. This allows you to enjoy the excellent quality pastries they have to offer. The macaroons, palmiers, and mousse cakes are some of the many highlights they have on the menu, and the same goes for the coffee too. Definitely check it out I'd you're in the Broadway Plaza shopping center area! Deserts are delicious, but skip the latte (nothing special). You have a sense that the atmosphere was built for a smaller, laid back crowd as the Cafe was busy and felt rushed on a weekend afternoon. If you oder a tart to eat while dining in, they'll give you a plastic fork which for a tart with a harder crust, doesn't break through easy at all.

The pastries have very nice presentation. I ordered the framboise cake which has layers of raspberry (hence the name) and was super soft and definitely tasted like raspberry. The young blonde lady however does not seem to know the names of the pastries very well nor how to pronounce anything. I heard an older lady ordering before me asking her how to pronounce the framboise or if that’s what it was called since she was from a distance from the sign and the girl simply shrugged her shoulders. The lady had to resort to pointing instead at which one she wanted. As pretty as the pastries look, if working here you should at least know what each thing is and be aware of the names in order to best explain to the customer what it is if asked. I ordered everything with the same lady and then she asked if I wanted anything else. I was about to order the drinks when she said “those you order with him” she should’ve asked if I wanted any other pastries. Thankfully the guy making the drinks was much more chill and had better energy to deal with. Since there is no available seating inside, you must look for seating outside if you wish to eat there. All the tables were either taken or had not been cleaned up yet. Thankfully one was found that was not wiped down but decided to take it. I would have given the place 5 if that lady had better attitude about her job. If she is having a bad day she should sit out or try to keep it in until she’s off, if not then she shouldn’t work doing that.
