I was able to eat lunch and dinner at this place. Loved the food and my favorite. A 5 course meal with appetizer, soup, salad, main course, and dessert. Great view of the beach front. Make sure to make a reservation before 2pm for dinner.

This is the main buffet at the Grand Park Royal. We ate here for breakfast and dinner. Standard hotel food. Breakfast is very noisy, I'd suggest eating outside. They have the usual breakfast fare. The service is the real issue, if you sit at a table without utensils, it can take a while to get some, ditto the coffee, one morning we had the time to eat our breakfast before we got a cup of coffee. And for some reason, no bacon. We prefered to eat at the Italian place for breakfast, quiet, but less choice. Dinner, it's ok, there was always rice, chicken, pasta, salads, service is better at night. Some hits some misses, there is always a theme and a made to order station. Not gourmet by any means, but standard hotel food rarely is. The taco set up outside next to the buffet has great tacos, but nothing else.

There are many dishes that just don't taste good. At breakfast the frijoles were very liquid, you can't even eat them with your fork, for a Mexican this could be considered an insult. The bread also was terrible, but the eggs that a guy made at the moment were excellent. At lunch, the pasta was really bad, and the guacamole didn't taste like avocado. On the other hand, the potatoes and the tortillas were really nice. The rest of the food was just meh. It is below expectations for a hotel of this category.

Went for lunch and the food was outstanding! They have a small salad bar filled with ceviches, vegetables, and some fruit. The appetizer entrees were great as well as the little shrimp tostadas. They gave me the view that overlooked the entire gulf. I could have eaten there all day.

Fantastic pork tacos however everything else was very average. Staff were very friendly and also the service was great.
