My husband and I visited this restaurant today and it was 🔥🔥🔥! We both had curry goat, oxtails, steamed cabbage, and rice and peas. Everything was seasoned to perfection, it was a lot of food, and the service was very welcoming. I am so glad we found this place and we will be back! The jerk chicken is pretty tasty but not as spicy/hot as I had expected. If you've had authentic jerk before this spice level is definitely watered down in comparison. Their cabbage is delicious and their peas and rice is hit or miss (the last time I went it was kind of dry). However, the lady that preps your plate (I think she's the owner) is super sweet and friendly with all the customers. There is only two 2-person tables on the inside for people who want to dine-in, so it is best to get your meal to-go. We are new to the coast area and one of the reasons I’m enjoying our decision to move here is the food. Today at Coastline Caribbean Restaurant finds me and my taste buds in a happy place. We got Oxtails, Curry Chicken, and Curry Goat. All with steamed Cabbage and Rice. Fantastic! Loved my experience and service. If you want a home cooked meal for a good price, this is the place to go to! Love the spicy jerk chicken and beans and rice and normally I don’t like spicy food. Omg!!! The food was AMAZING! Tis was my first visit. I stopped in with my Mom for celebrating her birthday. We wanted to eat in, but it was rather warm inside the establishment. I got the Jerk Chicken with peas and rice and Mac and cheese... My Mom ordered the oxtails with collards and peas and rice... The food was amazingly flavorful! Better than other Caribbean establishments nearby! I wish I could pack the cooks in my suitcase and take them home! I am not local to the area, but I'll definitely be back! I went for the first time and ordered Jerk Chicken, Mac & cheese with steamed cabbage. Lawd, ham mercy! The Mac & cheese was soo good! I couldn’t finish my food because I got sand in it from the beach :( Besides my personal experience (sand in food from the wind blowing) —- I’m definitely going back. This could’ve been a 5 star if they had barbecue sauce on hand at the checkout.
