I am not a wine person, but I've always loved the "wine bar vibe" if that makes sense. This was seriously the most perfect example of that and more. The owners and staff are extremely knowledgeable and will help you pick exactly what you're looking for. We got a couple bottles, a seafood board, and the large charcuterie board for our group. Everything was delicious and the portions were good. Price-wise it was very worthy...I've definitely spent the same amount for a much lesser experience. This is a place that you will want to keep coming back to. We will definitely be back!

OMG this place is so very cute! Nice mixture of crowds. Great DJ playing fantastic 80s. Nice little menu. Great Saturday for trying and sipping wine! Margo is amazing!!!

Delightful, as always. Really wonderful wines and a great cheese board. Great selection of unique wines, tinned fish and other things like hot sauces, chocolates and vermouth. Definitely worth a significant detour to check out this spot.

owned by a husband wife duo, it’s a lovely place to drink some natural wine on their outdoor patio. charcuterie & cheese boards are delicious! $10 corkage fee but their retail is very affordable. taken so many friends there & they all love it. shoutout to Jeuri for her recommendations & warm hospitality! :)

I wasn't thrilled with the service here. I considered getting ordering some glasses off the menu, but asked if I could sample the two that I was interested in. "Normally I don't do tastes of this one, but since I have it open..." and that makes sense, because neither was very good. However they do carry some beautiful natural wines from Eastern Europe, and the ones I brought home were quite good. I would expect better service for the price point.

The best. Expert wine selection + the greatest wine shop owners. Hospitable, kind, and overall exceptional - whole experience is enjoyable every time. Almost didn’t want to review because we don’t want this place to become too popular.

Omg my new fave spot for date nights!!!! Its so cute here! The service was top tier! No food really on mon, Tues so we just sipped vino. They serve cheese and crackers and olives on mon tues!

I’m just in love with Clos. Juerie + Paul are so passionate. Check their events, Venissimo does some absolutely divine pairings here and they sell out!!! Clos truly has the most knowledgeable and approachable team in SD—I managed in wine bars + fine dining to truly get a grasp for the airy, pseudo-actor scene that is natural wine lately. I’m not here for that. From the beautiful succulent garden just outside of the patio to the SERIOUSLY ADORABLE BATHROOM, love and dedication to creative beauty adorn each corner of this space. Clos is not a bar but a place to rest and absorb the knowledge and personality of the earth from which the grapes you’re tasting grow, the colorful humans that lend their hand to the process of capturing a fruit’s essence. Also do NOT skip on the chips, truffle is cool but my jam is the aged cheese flavor. WITH THE SARDINES wow. Just wow.

This little wine bar and shop is an absolute GEM. I always thought I didn't like wine, turns out I just didn't know what kind of wine I liked. The shop owners and staff are so excited to share their finds and help you hone in on what exactly make a wine great, to you. It's always an incredible experience that leaves you feeling plugged into the community and your cup flowing with friendship. Don't miss their small bites! Ranging from familiar cheese and meat boards, to the wonderfully curious and DELICIOUS tinned fish plates, you might find a new favorite thing. 💙🙌

This little wine shop is my favorite spot in University Heights. The owners and all the staff are just amazing, and always have the best recommendations for wine. I have loved every glass and bottle from Clos. The sunny porch is the perfect spot for a glass of wine with friends, or solo with a good book.
