I got the lunch special, I’m not crazy about rib tips myself but they were great. What I really enjoyed was the pulled pork, it was sooooooo good. I did the medium level sauce and it had a nice amount of zest, I will likely do hot next time. For sure will be getting some more of that pulled pork! Absolutely amazing little place! Their lunch special was so much food! And their special homemade BBQ sauce is to die for! The service was wonderful as well! Definitely recommend it!

I'm sorry I must take out my food due to COVID, but it's not a real inconvenience because the BBQ is SO good. I've eaten at their earlier location and now here for 30+ years. I've taken slabs of ribs home for parties. The sides are also great, and the people are welcoming and kind. Clay's is a Springfield institution because the Clay family can cook! It's a must visit.
