Cute little coffee shop in downtown area. Service was good and cute little seating area inside as well as an outdoor patio area. Drinks came out quick and coffee was tasty. Great spot to stop when you're downtown site seeing. Service Take out Price per person $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, I dunno. From what I was told, it was a very popular place. I first purchased 2 cups of regular coffee, and I love strong dark roast coffee, but their coffee tasted bitter and burnt. I thought I'd give them a second chance and ordered a Hazelnut latte with two extra shots of espresso, and it was like trying to drink hot, very sweet milk. Would I go back? No!! Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

10/10 DEFINITELY recommend! This cute little shop has a specialty menu of unique drinks for you to discover and in their Iced Coffee they actually use COFFEE to make their ice cubes so as it melts your coffee doesn’t get watered down as you explore beautiful downtown Beaufort but as it melts you get MORE COFFEE! This quaint little coffee shop in the Heart of Downtown Beaufort. If you l9ve coffee, you will live City Java's selection of delicious coffees. I chose to go with the Oku Mountain Ebony because I love dark, rich coffee, but the others were quite delicious as well. The owner was so friendly! She was so helpful in suggesting local favorites. Coffee time! I was here at 6:30am and the gal behind the counter was dishing up coffee and pastries for locals and hotel guests. There are a couple small tables inside so it's possible to spend some laptop time here but it's not idea for more than an hour or two as it's not really laid out as a "coworking" space. Coffee was excellent and the wifi worked well. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10

Wow! We felt so cared for on our quick stop in City Java. The baristas were so kind and helpful and made us fantastic drinks! Their breakfast burrito and caprese sandwich were incredible. This was definitely a memorable coffee shop.

Nicole was by far the best barista I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Coffee was made perfectly and the breakfast food was heated up perfectly as well! Best spot for coffee in Beaufort! We were in town for the long weekend and hit up City Java three times! I highly recommend getting the Kiss of the Irish ☘️ oh, and the breakfast burrito (delicious!) The baristas were all super friendly too. Definitely a go-to spot while you’re in town! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Stopped by twice while staying at a local B&B. Same barista each time. She was great, as was the coffee. We also purchased a bag of decaf bean and fixed a pot this morning. It was perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We were amazed at how friendly the employees were. My husband loved the coffee. He bought me a painting that was hanging on their wall. It was painted by a local artist. The owner was very friendly and even gave us some history lessons about the area. We will be back!
