Good times, I’m visiting Scottsdale Arizona and was looking for a good cigar bar. I happened to stumble upon Churchill’s fine cigars & bar. If you don’t like reading reviews real quick: Bartender Sam is great, has great recommendations, great liquor selection, makes great drinks, plenty of seating at bar and tables, tons of cigars, excellent cigar selection and quality, large humidor, establishment is clean, bathrooms are clean, & the staff is friendly and fun, especially their bartender Sam, good dude!
Now If you like reading reviews, then this was definitely a great spot to stumble on. They have and excellent bourbon & whiskey selection! The Bartender Sam is quite knowledgeable with their Liquor and cigars. If you don’t know what to get ask for their option. Their draft beer was cold as it should be, & they have a great selection of everything else a well. The vibe was friendly, fun, and casual.
Clientele can also make and break a place. But everyone was cool & respectful, and no one was rowdy. The customers along with staff were great and I had some good conversations. If you’re not in the mood to chatter you can comfortably keep to yourself and still receive great service.
The Humidor has a great and huge selection of cigars over all. In the case you don’t find exactly what you’re looking for they still have a great selection of cigar types: Maduro, Toro, Churchill, Monte Cristo and all the other types of cigar genres yourself looking for.
The cigar quality is Excellent, and all of their cigars are just right not to soft, not to hard, and the humidity level is great. I tired 3 different cigars a barber pole, maduro, and a Churchill. All 3 cigars were excellent smokes as well as the drinks I had.
Atmosphere is cool, fun, nice and chill, definitely not crazy, or boring and it perfectly lends itself to everyone’s taste. It got a little busier after 10pm but there was still plenty of room and charm. The establishment had good seats (no broken or dirty chairs & tables present) the bathrooms were extremely clean as well as all the tables and bar top.
Over all I loved Churchill’s fine cigars & bar. Would I go back: yes! Would I recommend it and their cigar selection: yes! Was the staff and establishment where it should be: yes! This place is a winner, winner chicken diner and I look forward to returning! Definitely check it out if you like/love cigars, and ask for Sam!
I come in here at least once or twice a week. Incredible cigar selection, good bourbon options. Well maintained humidor.
Sam runs the place a lot of the time and is top notch. He’ll often sit down and talk cigars with you if you have questions. Overall the ambiance is nice. Not too quiet or too loud. This isn’t your pretentious Scottsdale cigar lounge, more of a relaxing and fun environment. Comfortable chairs, wifi, and a welcoming atmosphere.
This cigar lounge was the best. Instantly greeted by a staff member named Sam who treated us very well. The cigar selection was unbelievably vast and was priced well (compared to California.) My husband and I will definitely be back to visit.
I was in Scottsdale for work and hung out at this bar after work everyday. The staff are super friendly and recommended places I should go while I was in town. Great little hangout spot! If you are lucky you may meet the mascot named Nugget!
Always visit they store in Arcadia? But this want is beautiful, huge humidor as always one of the best selections of cigars in town and with a nice patio, so event if the close at 10pm you till can be outside a bit longer.
Great selection of cigars at standard prices, not elevated for the North Scottsdale location. Inviting atmosphere for fun start or finish to your evening.
So glad they opened up in North Scottsdale! Great people, great cigars and the place is great!!! I have been to all of them and all have need outstanding!!
Visited while in town from TX. Sam is awesome. Great selection of cigars and very knowledgeable about bourbon pairings. Will frequent anytime I’m in town. If I was local I’d be here weekly.
We went to Churchill's cigar bar in Scottsdale to celebrate a birthday last night. It's conveniently located on Scottsdale Road just south of the 101. This place has a great humidor selection with good prices. The beer and spirits selection is also high quality.
Comfortable leather chairs and two TVs. During my past visits Sam was the bartender. Last night Lorraine took care of us. It was pretty busy, but Lorraine did a fantastic job of handling the crowd. She's very personable and knowledgeable about cigars and cocktails. My crew has decided that we will be coming here on a regular basis for our weekly cigar group.
