Really amazing experience for seafood lovers. It’s a quaint little house and Zak handles it all. We had the speciality - the lobster. It was extremely fresh, so fresh that we saw it being transported in a bicycle and we had the opportunity to help prepare it 🦞🚲There’s a nice terrace at the top but only enough for one table. We ate here for lunch last week and this was one of the best meals we had in Morocco! The lobster was fresh, grilled perfectly and served with some amazing sides. I would mention it’s a small place, the roof seating is only one table and NOT for the tall! My husband is 6’4” and had to almost slide on his belly up the last set of stairs to reach the top. Hands down best food we had in one week traveling around Morocco. Both the lobster and the fish tajine were absolutely delicious - highly recommended. The host was so welcoming and made us feel at home throughout the whole dinner. The place was very authentic and definitely not what a fancy restaurant looks like. Absolutely recommend! Zak is great and listens to all your needs, he also makes recommendations on what you should eat/drink. The food was amazing! We got to sit on the terrasse at the top, we were very comfortable and absolutely enjoyed our experience. I recommend to anyone who’s visiting Essaouira! Came with my daughter on recommendation from previous reviewers. Upstairs table at the top is the cutest little room! We had the lobster which was delicious with really good home made fries and salad. We also had the lamb chops… simple but really tasty. Zak is super friendly and all at a reasonable price. Expect to wait but it’s worth it. It’s small so the atmosphere is what you make it 💕🙏🏻 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
