It was good but I still felt it could have been better. I got the vegan option that gives ten different options which was really nice. Asked for the hot sauce tray to give food a bit more flavor. And they have a gluten free bread which was really good. The wait staff was nice. The bathroom has a hole in the wall. Recently dined at Cher Cher to savor Ethiopian cuisine, and it was somewhat a good experience with fancy, unique dishes that we hadn't tried before. The culinary adventure brought us delightful flavors at a reasonable price and introduced us to a whole new world of tastes. While the food left a positive impression, I must mention that the service could use some improvement. The woman who served us appeared to be somewhat rude, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Polite and attentive service is crucial to enhancing the dining experience, and I believe that addressing this aspect would significantly elevate the restaurant's appeal. Despite this, the intriguing flavors of the Ethiopian dishes make Cher Cher a worthwhile spot for those seeking culinary exploration. SO affordable and such an underrated location, so close to the bus stop. A literal gem - scrumptious, well-spiced food, good portions, and even better service. The only downside is I fear this place has been discovered; there was a bit of a wait when we arrived because so many people were trying to snag seats. They did do their best to accommodate us quickly though, and we were seated in less than 20 minutes. The food and atmosphere felt like a home away from home ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Habesha Beer

My first time trying Ethiopian food and it was beyond delicious. If you want to try various dishes, I recommend doing the deluxe vegetarian option as it will give you something to share like the picture. They are preselected, you do not get to choose! Do expect spicy on some items. Not all were spicy! We had their main dish, Doro Wat - which is what's on the center of our veggie plate. This was enough for two people as the Injera (bread) that you eat the veggies with is filling! Will come back when I'm in the area again. Very authentic place! A busy place (for good reason). Service is super friendly and helpful, and seating was throughout the restaurant (a little cramped), but we sat outside with heat lamps and it was covered, which was good as it was lightly raining. Limited street parking is available, but we parked in a nearby parking lot. We had about 5 people in our group on a Saturday evening so we waited about 20 minutes for a table and it was great as we were seated outside where the weather was cooler (it was a bit warm inside for me). The place is quite small, and you need to climb stairs to get in. This would not be handicap accessible (or stroller accessible). Once inside, there is a small bar and tables. Upstairs is more seating if they have larger parties or groups. There is also a small patio out back with additional seating (and heat lamps if you need it). The serve helped us pick a platter that would work well for our vegetarian and meat eaters. It was all delicious and well seasoned (even if I didn't know what I was eating at any given time - LOL). She explained it, but I lost track as we dug in! I look forward to coming back again! Dim lit, small scale Ethiopian spot. Best for smaller crowds. Laid back vibe. Ordered the beef ribs stewed in tomato, onion, bell pepper, & jalapeno. Beef was juicy, but also tough. There was some gristle. They brought out my food & then doled out the portions for me. Never had that at an Ethiopian restaurant. Gave adequate amounts of injera also. I’m from out of town and this restaurant was recommended to me. I was so impressed! The food was amazing - I got the vegetarian special with lentils. It came out so quickly, was a nice size portion, and they took great care of me when I was at the bar by myself. I wish I lived here so I could keep going. Highly recommend! Cozy atmosphere, great service. The food was super delicious, especially the vegetarian dishes, definitely one of the best Ethiopian places I’ve had in town. Tried the honey wine for the first time and absolutely loved it too, would come back Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chercher Vegan Special Plate with Beef TIBS
First time having Ethiopian food and was not disappointed. The platter we ordered had many tasteful sides to try. The beef tips with onions were my favorite. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Habesha Beer
Delicious food. It offers unique flavors and communal dining experiences. Injera, a sourdough flatbread, is a staple. Dishes like Doro Wat (spicy chicken stew) and Kitfo (minced raw meat) showcase the rich culinary heritage.
