I thoroughly enjoyed my Indian meal at Chennai Restaurant on my first night here. I opted for the beef korma and ordered a separate rice, while my partner indulged in the chicken biryani rice, and together we shared a delightful keema naan. Although some reviews criticize portion sizes, they are sufficient, even if smaller than those in the UK or USA. It's crucial to acknowledge the cultural differences in cooking and service pace, as this is not the USA or Europe the equipment and man power is not the same. However we are having the opportunity to eat at a real genuine family run restaurant in Laos. Staff may have a language barrier, but clear communication makes the dining experience smooth. Good food, excellent flavor. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Indian food but not as I know it, small portions so order several. The nan bread was very thin. Service pretty slow and one dish didn’t arrive at all. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We ate there twice and probably we will go there today again. Food is amazing but sometimes you need to wait a little longer. Well - this is Laos :) Anyway, highly recommended! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
This is some of the best Indian food out there. They have a small kitchen and sometimes are understaffed - we went 3 times and our food came out after 15 minutes one time, 2 hours another time when restaurant was entirely full. Enjoy the time you spend there with the people you’re with. The food is spectacular, absolutely worth it. Highly recommend the bhaingan barta, paneer mutter, chana masala, and aloo cabbage. Was a bit optimistic with all the negative reviews, however I’ve ordered a butter chicken with steamed rice and garlic naan and it was hands down really good. Portions are a bit to the small side but for the price you pay it’s good. Food came in 15 min and the service was excellent. Would definitely recommend if your in Nong Khiaw. Decent indian food. Not the best on earth but alright for Laos. Their Samosas are amazing
The food was super good really . After 3 months away from India i eat this kind of food . The chef is so skilled have worked in Malaysia , Singapore , Thailand . Price us reasonable . They have thThali as well 30,00,0 kip veg and 40,000 kip for non veg. Huge chairs with the beautiful view if Mekong river . Best hours is the evening time . They have small parking . But the people are nice they all are indian . The owner married here with lao girl and since after staying here . Nice Guy
The best Indian food I tried! I went two times, and both were excellent. I really recommend this place!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Tried the chicken keema curry, garlic naan and samosas. The food was alright but could have used some more spices. It was cheap, though, so it's not a bad choice if you crave Indian. Good Mango lassi, but no beer available
