This is actually the second negative review I am writing. Apart from the fact that I almost never find stock of the thing that are advertised, about a week ago I bought an overpriced bag of potatoes. A week later they already have worms in them. How does this happen when an 8kg of potatoes should not to bad that fast? That was my last visit to this checkers.

It's grate to buy at Checkers Saint. Only the road is bad there and the smell outside sometime overwhelming.

I do like this store, BUT they need to monitor more carefully when the queue is long and open more than 3 registers! My friend was late for her first day on a new job today because we had gone in, in plenty of time to shop, but the queue was long and slow. Also, I was charged 3 times for buying only 2 if an item on clearance, but no way to prove it so I paid more than I should have.

Very Nice to shop there, friendly service, but the roads to this shop is disgusting municipality what a shame the municipal is to Welkom.

I don't like going here due to beggars and the filth around the building especially at the back where there is deliveries and getting there on these roads is a pain

If you don't like shopping in a busy place. This is the place for you. A quiet checkers with everything you will find in another checkers with enough parking. Friendly and helpful staff and quick service.

Used to love shopping here. Today, however, was a disaster. Will not return. Could feel this Checkers fits right in with everything going down the drain in SA. Rude staff talking so loud to one another it seems as of they were shouting. This went on for quiet a while. Tried buying a sandwich at front counter but the lady there would not help me she just continued writing and ignored me flat. I left the counter empty handed. Staff Standing in isles and giving me dirty looks for wanting to pass with trolley. Very rude. Moved on to buy a pie for my son, got such a fright at the state the kitchen was in. It looked like some sauce had exploded on the silver table and the floor was full of garbage. Never again
