Melissa has made cakes for us for both my daughter Julie and for my grandson Henry's birthdays. There's no theme she can't create, and her cakes are always absolutely gorgeous! And totally delicious! I give her my highest recommendation -- you won't be disappointed.

We hired Chantilly Cake Shop for our wedding last week and not only was the price for an enormous cake SO reasonable for our budget but the owner/pastry chef was absolutely fantastic to work with. I planned the wedding myself so I was very overwhelmed the whole time and she just made the cake aspect effortless for us. The final product was unbelievable tasting and we barely had any left despite our small number of guests! Finally, what she created was like an absolute work of art and I can tell you, I am very picky. It absolutely blew my mind and everyone went on and on about how gorgeous it was! If we ever renew our vows we will, without question, be going back to Chantilly Cakes in Charleston, SC!

Melissa has made multiple cakes for us over the years. We have had themed cakes for the kids, certain flavors for the grandparents, and the insane chocolate peanut butter cakes she has made for me. EVERY time the themes and the flavors are knocked out of the park!! Melissa is an artist at what she does, and takes pride in every cake she makes. Anybody looking for the best cakes in the business needs to see Melissa at Chantilly Cake Shop!!

I can not say enough about this cake shop. Personally I’m a chef and avid baker and have a hard time trusting and knew I had to rely on someone for our wedding which was a remote location away from home. We tasted 2 different companies before getting the pleasure of experiencing Chantilly and I was disappointed and frightened to say the least. Well. Once my now husband and I tasted the samples (PBw ganache, chocolate w raspberry, and our current favorite and wedding choice Pistachio w buttercream) we were floored with excitement. Not only were these cakes moist, perfectly crafted of rich generous flavor I admitted might be the best cakes I’d ever eaten, mine included! Our biggest problem was which to choose! Needless to say we found reason to get all 3!!! Wedding pistachio, grooms cake chocolate w raspberry and a friend who’s birthday fell on the wedding trip got the PB w ganache loll That’s not all. Everyone raved about these cakes it was unreal how delicious and perfect my wedding cake was and presented. My family came on a beach trip to folly in June this year for a birthday…guess who did the cake? Yep you got it Snickerdoodle from Chantilly andddd my husband and I just picked up a small anniversary cake of pistachio on our way through town to catch a cruise! Hands down you won’t regret it don’t walk but RUN to try this cake shop!!

We couldn't have found a bakery to make our wedding cake!! Melissa was incredible throughout the whole process. When I first talked with Melissa over a year ago, she was so kind and honest with me. She told me she wasn't sure if she would she would be able to do our wedding cake because she wasn't sure when she would be in labor and didn't want to promise her availability on her child's potential first birthday. When she found out that she was able to do our wedding cake, she called and put me right in her calendar. I really appreciated her honesty right from the beginning and her ability to follow up and keep me updated. We also had many conversations about how the cake would look and she did a great job of listening to what we wanted, making flavor / frosting / filling suggestions and even offering her cake stands as an option. We sent her pictures of what we wanted and she nailed it! We got so many compliments on our cake!! We even sent her a color swatch so she should match the color of the bridesmaid dresses to the cake and she got the color perfect!! And of course every layer and ever flavor of cake tasted amazing!! Thank you Melissa!!

I have had multiple cakes done by Melissa at Chantilly and they have been amazing every time. Her cakes are beautiful, stunning, and most importantly delicious. She was very easy to work with and her cakes turned out exactly the way I wanted (per the photo/drawing). I will never go anywhere else for my special occasions and neither should you!

Melissa is AMAZING! A true talent. I needed a custom cake for an engagement party, and I really wanted to incorporate aspects of where the couple were from ( Germany and Louisiana) along with their shared passion (the outdoors). The result was truly incredible. The attention to detail was fantastic. The couple and all our guests were in awe. Not to mention the cake itself was delicious! Thank you so much for making our event even more special.

We went back and forth between wanting a cake for our wedding. Melissa was so patient with us, and helpful. I am beyond happy we decided to go with a cake from Chantilly! Communication was great, especially being from out of town, making our wedding a destination wedding for us. The cake; it was delicious! The finish product came out better than we ever dreamed. We even tried to get another one made before heading out of town! Timing didn't work out (which was on us for being last min), but I can not wait to travel back to Charleston and make Chantilly apart of our wedding anniversary tradition. We highly recommend Chantilly Cake Shop.
