Nice atmosphere, and nicely plated food, albeit a bit bland. Good place for big groups. They have a few different wines and also cocktails. Pricy for Korat.

I’d like to start of by saying the good as there are a lot more bad.
The good part is that the atmosphere is good, you get your own fan at the table, so it’s nice and cool.
Right where shall I start with the shocking part. Singer was not great, I found her voice rather annoying but that’s only my preference. However, whatever I ordered they had sold out or didn’t have. So I was left at the table without food. The cocktail was tasteless, I would describe it as dish water.
Serve was horrendous, order a bottle of wine which the bottle came in a good time although we had to wait 10 mins for the glasses to arrive. 10 minutes is a very long time to wait as the wine has already been open. We proceed to order a second bottle (different wine) which the bartender nearly used the same glass! Of course I asked for new glasses but wait I forgot I had to wait another 10 mins.
Overall avoid this place at all cost. Don’t get me wrong, I am Thai myself but the reason I choose to review this in English is so that the world know that this place don’t deserve our time and money!

So after about 30 mins of posting the review the management team was very quick to review this and the owner came over and spoken to us. My perspective on this place has change massively. I have understood the restaurant a lot more; So let me tell you!
The place has only been open for 2 months so of course there’s going to be a few faults which the faults were minor. However because every one there was trying their best to be as professional as they can, they over looked the little things. For example with the wait on the wine glasses; the problem was that day they had a technician to fix the air conditioner so the bartender had to reassure that all the glasses was rewashed. that’s why it was slow. If we knew this from the start I would have not complained as we understand.
Also with the food, the restaurant/ cafe are open from early morning till late evening so naturally they will be sold out of certain things. Which, if our waitress had informed us we would not have had order. I’m result to not letting us down.
So the moral of this is just to be honest with your customers and speak with us because at the end of the day we are all human and things will not always go as plan. That’s why communication is very important.
We walked out of Chani cafe and bistro very happy. Not because of the service but because they was willing to listen and take feed back to improve. I’ll definitely give them another chance and try again.
