We couldnt buy anything because payment with card starts from 5 euro here (?) When we said there is no such requirement elsewhere, a guy (probably the owner) told us to "go there then!"and mumbled something under his nose... Worst experience on our 10 days malta vacation :/

Extremelly unpleasant gentlemen (not sure if he is the owner or the employee, visited od Wednesday morning).
Very bad experience because of which we didn't even have the opportunity to try the pastries.
It's so sad that people still behave like that, we should know better.

Most pastizzi in Malta are good, but these are great. Flavours of traditional pastizzi: chicken, peas, ricotta (the standard three you get everywhere), nutella. The nutella one is obscene but obscenely good. Cost as of September 2020: 50 cents each. Buy one of each four and it's a full meal, however hungry you were.
Other non-pastizzi pasties: full english breakfast, meat and mango (the owner's personal favourite and quite unique to this shop - try it) and many others I didn't get the chance to try. He'll patiently list what is in each one, then again when you've forgotten it all.
Kevin also sells drinks (alcoholic, non-alcoholic, six packs of water, milk...) cheaper than most convenience stores in Marsaskala.
Honestly, go here before trying a convenience store, and only go to a convenience store for what he doesn't have.
