Came here right around their opening time at 11:30 AM for lunch on a Sunday. The place was empty but they still had the island music playing making it an awesome vibe. I got the fish (grouper) burger and it was phenomenal and fresh. Their fresh tartar sauce was a tad bit salty but otherwise it was good and freshly made. Incredible food, amazing service, out of this world views. The gentle breeze in the open air seating was divine. The music was great. We couldn't have asked for a better lunch after swimming all morning at Taylor Bay Great value for excellent food. We had the chicken nachos, chicken fettuccine, and the house salad. Found Chalkie's by accident. Super good accident. Driving to Taylor Bay and spotted. We needed a snack so figured we'd stop. Excellent food and service. Best prices on the island, from what we found. To our surprise, 2 days later on Sapodilla Beach, Chalkie's has a stand. Pizza, nachos and their delicious drinks on the beach. Even made friends with a local Potcake on the beach...over a slice of pizza. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

After a trip to Taylor Bay to watch the sunset we decided to eat at Chalkies based on the reviews and prices. We’d been eating PB&J sandwiches and bologna sandwiches at our condo to save money and was ready for a real meal. We ordered Green Teas from the bar and a Margherita pizza and Fried Plantains for appetizers. Drinks came quickly and the pizza and plantains were brought out in a decent time. Drinks were good and the pizza was delicious. The fried plantains were very bland and we did not enjoy them. There were four of us and for our entrees we ordered the Tostones Cheeseburger, Grilled Veggie Panini, Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and a Meat Lovers Pizza. All entrees were great. The burger and panini came with fries and they were very good as well. We all loved our entrees. The only thing I didn’t like was my burger came on fried plantains for the buns. The menu started it did but I didn’t understand it was a fried plantain. I was thinking it was a bun made with plantains. Since the fried plantains were not very good I didn’t care for it as a bun. The burger was good otherwise. If ordering that burger again I would just request it be served on a regular bun. It was Friday night and there was a live DJ playing music. The music was good but for my taste it was a little too loud. I like music but I also like to be able to converse with the people at my table. Our server’s name was Giovy and she was super. The staff overall was great. I gave the place four stars based on the Fried Plantains and the loud music. I’d given it a 4.5 rating but don’t have that option. I would definitely go back if we come back to the Turks & Caicos. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the resorts . It’s bout 20 minute drive from grace bay to South Dock but it’s worth it . Service is top notch , you cannot go wrong at chalkies . The conch trio was amazing , fun atmosphere for adult and kids . My fiancé had the seafood pizza it was a 10/10 . Great choice ! Went back twice . Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

This spot is so awesome! First we had lunch from the beach spot which was absolutely delicious. We came to the actual location for dinner and because we heard “sports bar” and being avid hockey fans, we needed a spot to watch the New Jersey Devils game. The staff was super friendly and did everything they could to get the game on for us which on this island is not very easy. Even when the game buffered, they did everything to get it back on. The food was even better here. My husband loves pork chops and couldn’t stop raving about his jerk chop. My chicken was delicious and the fried plantains were great! Would definitely recommend! I wish I could do 4.5 stars. The food overall was great! Margarita was delicious. First time my partner was trying conch and got the conch platter: everything was great. The only bad thing was the jerk chicken was extremely dry. Flavor was good though, just very leathery. Service Dine in
