From the FOH staff to the food to the vibe, we loved this place! They have a photo menu available, which is helpful for language needs or people who want visual inspiration. Great dining experience here. We didnt have to book in advance. Service was really good. Place was clean and tidy. Food was reasonably priced, with good sized servings and was yummo! The place is always busy, service is lovely (especially a guy, I can't remember his name but he chatted to us, gave us recommendations and made sure we had a good time) and the food is good. Big portions and tasty food that comes out quicker than some fast food restaurants I've been too! I love their fried rice and crispy pork. I've been here on multiple dinner dates with friends and it never disappoints. Only criticism is it gets a little loud at points but that's just because it's very busy. Also take note that you have to go to the counter to order. A great find! The place was very busy and the menu looked great. I had the panang curry and opted for medium heat. Service was speedy and the curry was delicious, a generous serve with the perfect level of heat. The Scots waiter was great, helpful friendly and worked tirelessly. Our first time and will be the last: Non- existent service and still terrible at it. No greetings, no smile, just staffs in the counter staring, poker face. Too bad for a first time. The rule is you need to order from the counter, get your own water and wait for your food on the table. The roti is fine but the satay sauce is too bland. Very old time cafe environment .We were cramped but the service from the young man was exceptional and the food was to die for. We had 5 different plates and shared.more than enough with each dish beautifully tasting. Well done chefs. And then we had sundaes!! What a wonderful extra special lunch. Went here for lunch in a group of about 8. The food was very very good for the price, but even better was the service. The waiter we had was possibly the best waiter I've ever had in my life. Fast, efficient, spoke loudly (for my elderly relatives), politely and confidently, checked on us but not to the point of being annoying. That guy is going places! You can tell he loves his job. I wanted to email the restaurant to say all this but couldn't find an email address unfortunately.
