Having seen Monument to Janis Cakste, it's time to have a rest at this cafe. Come here for nicely cooked pasta, ribs and pies if you are hungry. Great coffee is the best drinks of Central Cafe. The efficient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. The fine service is something these restaurateurs care about. Also, guests recommend this place because of reasonable prices. A lot of visitors have noticed that the atmosphere is quiet here. Google users granted the rating of 4.8 to this spot.

We were there for lunch. I took tomato soup with fried salmon and crab, it was delicious and price was ok. Staff were friendly and service was good. For drinking I took tea with orange and passion fruit, was nice. Overall me and my friends satisfied with everything. I recommend 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very high quality food. Don’t know why but took me by surprise. Everything was freshly prepared and beautifully served. Lovely outdoor seating area with a well kept garden as well as a play area for children. Even though there’s the main road right on the side, you do not notice it at all. The fish was lovely but do bare in mind it comes with its head still attached and the bones are not removed. Don’t let that scare you off though as the flavours are incredible! :) The super summery fresh peppermint- lime cheesecake was to die for! Was there by accident, after some activities in Jelgava, was not expecting that great food. Everything was no less than perfect. It was one of the best steaks i had in Latvia, and the price was more than great. Must visit if you are spending time walking around Jelgava. Good coffee and very good food! I don't know any place in Jelgava where the food is as good as in cental cafe. The daily changing dishes are very exiting and ofcourse the card dishes are very tasty as well. I love eating here and teakaway is possible too. Appearantly even delivery.
