À propos
Mexican cuisine can be served here. The recipe for success of this restaurant is its perfectly cooked laing, grilled octopus and tacos. It's a pleasant experience to try good pan dulce. Delicious wine, margaritas or beer are the best drinks of Casa Oaxaca. Visit this place and have great cafe de olla or good fresh juices. Musicians make live music in the evening. Many people underline that the staff is terrific at this place. Prompt service is something visitors agree upon here. You are to be pleasantly impressed with attractive prices at this spot. The fine decor and peaceful ambiance let clients feel relaxed here. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this restaurant deserved 4.4.

I found the overall experience at this restaurant to be mixed. While the food was decent with quality ingredients, the prices were notably high, affecting the value for money. The ambiance was beautiful, and the service was excellent, yet there was a sense that it caters more to those seeking a status-driven dining experience rather than exceptional cuisine. Precios algo elevados en los alimentos pero considero que lo valen, los platillos tienen buena presentación y buen sazón. Le falta mejorar la ambientación del lugar y mejorar la atención de los meseros, que en esta visita se vieron ausentes. We sought this place out based on the fame of Casa Oaxaca, which has the same owner / chef. I was torn between giving it a 3 and a 4. It wasn’t an expensive meal, so you could argue from a value perspective it should be a 4. But, I went with a 3 given that I think it has the potential to be a lot better. Food had some bright spots - such as freshly made salsa using house charred ingredients. Deserts were also pretty decent. However, there were a lot of execution errors, such as undercooked rice and poorly trimmed meat with lots of fat. Service was ok - but lots of smaller issues (e.g. not bringing menus, no plates to split food, etc…). We never saw a drink menu - maybe one doesn’t exist? The staff was friendly and helpful though. Ambiance wasn’t bad. We did visit on a holiday, so perhaps we caught the place on a bad day. And - as I said - the place definitely isn’t over priced. So… could be worse. Meal type Dinner Price per person $400–500 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
We loved this restaurant!! Food was delicious and they make a fresh salsa for you right at the table. Everything was so good! Their cocktails are also some of the best! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great service and food! We went twice - once for breakfast and another day for dinner. Both times the food was great. Prices were slightly higher than other places (still cheaper than Europe) but that was reflected in the quality of food and in the great service. The waiter even prepared our salsa by the table - we could pick out which ingredients we wanted and how hot it should be.

It was a let down. The mole presentation was cool but the food was over spicy and not balanced. Skip it if you can Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
We originally wanted to visit the other Casa Oaxaca location but since we didn't have the chance, we decided to give this location a try. We went in for lunch when they were quite empty, so we got the chance to get some extra careful service which was greatly appreciated! The atmosphere and décor were great, it really felt like a cool experience to dine here. We decided to take recommendations from the waiter who was super helpful and kind. We had the oxtail taco which was absolutely delicious and the the beef tongue stew which I wasn't a fan of unfortunately. They also made salsa to our taste which we had with some pita and our tacos - it was super tasty too. Really enjoyed my visit here - I'd highly recommend this place for the oxtail tacos.
First of all I thought I was going to Casa Oaxaca but I ended up at Casa Oaxaca Reforma. I never got to go to casa Oaxaca but I'm sure the difference is huge. Castle Oaxaca Reforma was quite a disappointment. I ordered two soups for my daughters and both of them were not even room temperature. I was really surprised because at the price point everything should be spot on and the soup should not be cold. I did not return it because my daughters were hungry but even they 7 and 9 mentioned that it was not hot. We ordered a couple of entrees to share. One of them was beef ribs and the other one was some pork dish. Neither of them were hot. The beef ribs consisted of one rib which seemed like it was cooked a long time ago a thrown together salad and some room temperature roasted potatoes. The pork dish was worse. It consisted of some knuckle or bone with very little meat on it. The same thrown together salad as the beef rib and no potato. This was truly a disappointing and expensive experience. The best part of the evening were the cocktails. I got to admit the cocktails were delicious. I had one with mezcal and passion fruit that blew me away. Also the table side salsa preparation was nice but the south side itself was nothing to write home about. I definitely won't be going here again. They really need to step up their game as far as food preparation and the temperature in which it is served Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $900–1,000
