A bit aside of city center, go and try this garden restaurant with a limited but well balance menu mixing French and local taste. Enjoyed every piece of it from service, fish tartar, chicken wrap and …. Cappuccino !

The best kept secret in Vilanculos. What a great time we had and the menu unbelievably decadent. Thank you Mika for your hospitality and the great food and off course the celebratory birthday drinks. We are already planning on coming back before we leave.
Quite simply the best meal, location and service in Vilancoulos! As you arrive you just experience tranquility and quality unmatched anywhere locally. Fantastic attention to detail and really beautiful menu.

Charming little restaurant with a lovely French principal and I suspect the cook may also be French. Eclectic blackboard menu, with a very interesting selection of entrees and main courses. Cute covered outdoor dining area. 100% worth a visit. Great service, fair prices.
However, Mozambique is blessed with wonderful crayfish. Huge lobster style delicacies. Please, please, please cook them more gently, so that the texture is delicate and the sweetness is allowed to come through. It's not just here, but everywhere I've been in Vilankulo ... Why cook so hard that you lose the flavour AND texture?

Beautiful spot, the food was uniformly excellent (we went two nights consecutively) and Mika and Valérie are brilliant hosts. The prawn pasta and crab curry were huge favourites!
