A ten minute walk from Tucheng MRT station, this small cafe offers a lot. Their menu has more variety before but now has been cut down to their most popular items. On our visit we had the mochi capybara cakes with ice cream, the regular capybara cakes with cream, a chocolate sundae, and the mixed fried food platter along with an iced coffee and a milk tea. Although not exciting or well presented, the sweets tasted good especially the mochi capybara cakes with ice cream. The fried food platter was not actually fried but prepared in an air fryer, which was actually my first time trying good prepared on one. They tasted no better than what you’d expect of you did it yourself but I thought it was good enough and was much less oil than I thought it was going to be. In the back of the cafe is a room where a tiny white dog and a cat are kept. Visitors can visit them at their leisure and both are cute, as behaved, and smell surprisingly good. You have to wait for your turn to visit the capybaras and each visit if only 20-25 minutes long and costs $200. Each visitor is given a cup of grass with which to feed the animals of which there are two. There is also an adorable duck that is very social and curious. The capybaras are very well behaved and have been raised by the caretaker since they were 6 months old. Even though this place is not overly exciting, you can get really close to the animals which you might have never seen before. This place is definitely worth a visit. Worth a visit to feed capybaras and see them up close! As others have noted, the main attraction here is a 15-minute experience with the resident 2 capybaras where you can feed them the grassy plants they like to eat. Note that the capybaras responded mainly to the presence of food and tolerated the occasional petting motion. The duck was more animated and fun to watch though I think he would’ve preferred to be fed as well! My wife found this place and booked us an appointment for the cafe online, though the capybara slot is separate and confirmed after paying for the cafe. There’s a minimum 200 NT spend per person at the cafe, plus an additional 50 pp for the capybara session. We tried having the capybara shaped cake things, along with two different teas which were ok. Travel to here from Taipei was a bit out of the way so we opted to take an Uber to save time. All in all a fun visit. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $200–400

Fun cafe where, for an additional fee, you can scratch, feed and interact with the Capys in their enclosure. The attendant clearly loved talking to guests about them. The food is fine, as others have said there is a minimum charge for food and my pizza was ok....but we aren't really there for the food. It was very fun to see the capybaras but they aren’t fun to play with. The most you can do is get a cup of big blades of grass to feed them and if they’re sleeping they might now wake up. There’s also a minimum order amount to sit in the restaurant and also a small fee to enter the capybara enclosure. They said they cleaned the water everyday but I got a pretty major allergic reaction after touching them. The hosts at the restaurant tell you about the capybaras, their names, what to do and what not do. There’s also rabbits but you can’t interact with them. In the capybara pool, there’s a duck that might also try to bite you if you get too close. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $200–400 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Ca-py-ba-ra! Capybara Capybara Capybara Capybara Capybara Knight offers a unique experience where purchasing a ticket allows you to spend quality time with the capybaras. It's worth every dollar, providing around 10 minutes of play and feeding these adorable creatures. While the food quality might not be exceptional, it's not the main attraction here - the capybaras steal the show. Interacting with the owner was a pleasure; his evident passion for animals shines through, and the bond he shares with them is heartwarming. Planning ahead is key, as they are quite popular - making a reservation in advance ensures you don't miss out on this delightful opportunity. Highly recommend making a reservation as they can get busy or visit a weekday like I did. You have to spend 100NT per person. After ordering, I reserved a time slot for playing with the capybaras (outside area has 2 capybaras and a duck). You get about 10 minutes to play with them and feed them grass! They’re pretty docile. There’s also an additional area inside that contains a 13 year old dog, cat, and 2 rabbits! Overall a pretty cool cafe for these animals. The latte I had was not that good but the main point is to play with the animals. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $1–200
