This cafe is located possibly at the most unique place in Kalmar, even if it is next to the busy entrance of the port , the front side has a view to the strait of Kalmar and to the west to the castle. A warm with good quality food and really nice personal. Clean and a nice view with castle of Kalmar from the second floor. By side of water. Lunch and Caffe good place for work, or meet even for hangout with friends for good quality lunch. I visit Kalmar second time and that place is my favorite. I've been there a couple of times and it was very nice with very good sandwiches (the one with salame and brie especially). Yesterday was instead disappointing, I've ordered a sallad with burrata and I received a normal and poor quality mozzarella with onions and tomatoes. I don't like when restaurants claim to serve italian food without knowing it, they should change the name of the plate or at least serve a real burrata.

Pros: - Nice view of the ocean - Great food and big portions - Priceworthy - Cozy - Kind personel Cons: - Trucks often pass the café due to the harbour - It seems like their decorative piled up firewood attracts wasps Overall a nice priceworthy option if you are after a lighter lunch or a treat!

Nice location and unlimited filter coffee. Sandwiches are somewhat basic for the price. Good visit for campers!
