Had a large variety of schnitzels to choose from. Definitely order one with sauce or else it is a bit dry. We ordered the one with mushroom sauce, jaegersauce, pepper sauce, and one with ham and eggs. The ham and eggs one tasted dry. Service was a bit slow.
Portions were big and it comes with fried and salad. Fries were meh. Almost like cold McDonald's fries.

It’s a nice restaurant with an amazing view. Food is nothing special but good for a quick meal when visiting the area. Would highly recommend the snizzle. Pasta not so much.

It is a nice restaurant by the river with amazing view. The onion french soup is delicious. The service is really good and it is a nice option if you are having a late lunch (since most of the other options in the city close)

One of the best experience we had in Luxembourg. Visited this cafe with my son and husband. The food was delicious - 3 course beef meal and a chicken salad. Great ambience and views of the Vianden lake. Parking was available close by (luckily). My four year old was super happy with the extra attention he got from the staff. They provided him with activity sheets to keep him engaged. Would love to go back some day!

French Onion Soup
When I entered this restaurant I admired the view. The restaurant and bathroom are very clean and have a nice smell. I was so happy to be in Luxembourg till now. But... Then we ordered our meal (beef and schnitzels with onions). The order did not come, a lot people came and went. We are asking to waiters. They are saying okey I will look. But who is going and not coming back. Finally I said, 'if the meal will be late, please let us know, we should go, cause we have a program. The last one also said okey, I will look immediately. Also she went and didn't come back. So I called her and asked what happened? She said 'the communication missing happened between kitchen and waiters, so they are preparing now...' so I said ' we don't deserve to get this information' we don't have long time in Vianden, we had a program in Luxembourg and plans. We had to skip because of this mistake. At least you can tell us.' we spent 2 hours here, eating is only almost 15-20 minutes. We skipped the ice-cream which already in the menu. When we are paying, she said, the thing She can do more, make free the drinks (2 beers). Also one menu came wrong, but we did not inform them, because we didn't want to wait one more hour. We ordered schnitzel onion, came schnitzel mushroom. Thank you to spend our time and make down our all motivation. It can be exceptional situation but they would solve it at least more convincible way.

We found it by chance passing by …looking for a place for my “birth lunch celebration” and all of us (group of 7pax) were extremely well served, food was delicious and kids were happy ! And… we missed the slot to get in the castle! :-)) It was worth!

Lovely restaurant located above the Our river. The terrace dining area has a great view and no bees to pester you during your meal. The food was excellent, the service was friendly. It's hard to find a good schnitzel in the US, so I was very glad to get a wonderful schnitzel here (in pepper sauce). The chocolate mousse is excellent as well. Very glad that we stopped here for dinner.
Delicious food and friendly staff. The portions were very generous, I couldn't finish my lunch even though I didn't have breakfast! The daily menu was a great value for money, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
