The interior of the place is extremely gorgeous, it's as if you're away from the noise and the crowd in the mall. The food was delicious - not so heavy, not so light, just nice. The beef was so tender and soft, it came off the bone so easily. The prawn was juicy and fresh, and did not have any fishy smell whatsoever. Will definitely go for dinner here again if I get the chance. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Plain Appam

Our first visit to this restaurant was fantastic. The classy colonial-style decor and superb service left us impressed. The staff was friendly and attentive. The dishes were delicious. The condiments complemented the apom, and the yellow rice was fragrant, with a generous serving of raisins that added to its tastiness. We also enjoyed the eggplant dish and the mutton varuval. Sri lankan food at its best, The service, atmosphere and food here is fantastic. Most dishes were a hit, but some just missed the mark by a fraction. We loved the brinjal/eggplant salad which had a refreshing yet tangy flavour to it - a great start to our meal. We were recommend the ever popular lamb shank but the one that stole the show was the hot butter calamari. It tasted a little like a cross between buttermilk and salted egg sotong that we are probably used to but with extra omph and flavour to it. It was great! The fish was a mix for us, while it was good, the was a little on the softer side especially once you flipped it over, there was no char or caramelisation. Drinks were a tad too sweet, so remember to alert them if you don’t like it that way. All in all a great meal. I would be back to try other dishes. Repeated so many times. We love eating dinner & spending time at this restaurant. All the dishes that I tried so far is top notch! The service is good. The food is good. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Last night, Ms Nori suggested Chili Garlic King Prawn, and it was very scrumptious. The starters - Fish & Lamb Cutlet - are our favorite. The dessert - Watalappan - is too good! Definitely our comfort food. Will come back for sure. First time and love it! Went there to celebrate my friend's birthday and the staffs were really welcoming. The food was amazing and authentic. The portion was more than enough. They also served complementary food since it was a birthday celebration. Special mention to Mr Shiju and Miss Nori for serving us a delight. Authentic Sri Lankan food that stays true to its roots. The service and ambience were simply superb. Would recommend anyone visiting to try the hot butter cuttlefish as it was just as delicious as in Sri Lanka. Butter paratta and chilli garlic roast paan were sensational and paired well their prawn curry. Chocolate biscuit fudge was a great way to conclude the meal for any dark chocolate lovers. Kudos to chef Angelo for the lovely food and hospitality. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chilli Garlic

Food: Mutton biryani - Taste alright, plenty of cashews in it. Eating it with the condiments served makes it better. One portion can easily serve 2-3 people. *Depending on the number of items you plan on getting though* Prawn curry - Loved it! It tasted fantastic, the prawns were fresh. No complaints. I simply can't stop raving about it lol. Mutton varuval - Loved everything about it too. It was just so well made. The Jaffna curry that coats it, is delicious. Mutton is soft and nice too. Calamari hot butter - Beautifully made. Something really special. Definitely a must have. Kids would enjoy it too. Lamb cutlets - An interesting starter, and the tomato chili dip that is served with it is really good too. Kopi Kelapa Bakar - THIS is the main highlight for me. If you want something different and if you're a fan of coconuts. Just get this. If you plan on coming here you should definitely explore their dishes and get some rice to go along with it, not necessarily the biryani. It's worth spending more on the dishes they serve. No complaints about staff, as they're all very friendly. The atmosphere is nice too. Hoping to come back again soon ❤️ Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We tried the Jaffna rice, fish cutlet, sambol and bru coffee. The food was simply awesome. The ambience is beautiful and instaworthy. We were served by an extremely polite and friendly staff, Surya. All in all we had a lovely time at Cafe Colombo. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Amaze with the restaurant ambience, classy yet amazing 😍 customer service. Would thank Mr Shiju for recommending the best seller menu. We take the lunch set. Taste of food amazing !! The tempered yellow rice was very fragrant and good. The brinjal salad was a pleasant surprise. The Jaffna mud crab was over cooked and could taste the curry powder in the gravy, maybe too much of it. Should have prepared it better. The chicken varuval was tasty. Mutton varuval was soft but not much flavour. The bru coffee was ok . The hot chocolate is recommended. The Sweet Appam was excellent and so was the Shrimp sambol. The ambience was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 200+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tempered Yellow Rice
