I visited Cafe Amakie at night on a long drive and the cafe was almost about to close but they still offered me a food. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, quality and variety of their menu. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff. I ordered a grilled chicken fried rice and a mango juice, and they were both delicious and satisfying. The grilled chicken fried rice was a hearty and flavorful dish, with tender chicken pieces and fresh vegetables. The mango juice was a refreshing and natural drink, with a sweet and tangy taste. There is the complimentary wifi and the relaxing music in addition. Cafe Amakie is a great place to stop by for a quick bite or a leisurely chat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good cafe near Kurunegala.

A wonderful spot to relax with friends and family just off the central highway. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, with ample seating. We received a warm welcome from the friendly staff upon entering.
We tried three dishes, pasta and two rice dishes (seafood and smoked chicken). The food is tasty, especially the pasta with its phenomenal sauce consistency. However, there were too many capsicums in the rice, affecting my appetite.
The cappuccino and mocha are delightful, highly recommended for coffee lovers. Overall, our visit to this place was perfect, and I'd recommend it to anyone seeking a meal or coffee spot.

This is our default stop on any trip to Kandy and beyond, or Dambulla and beyond, both ways. We've done breakfast, lunch and dinner here. Most of the time the experience has been very good. Recommend the breakfast buffet and especially the coffees. The prawn curry with roast paan, and the fish and chips are very good too. The staff are friendly and courteous. Over the years they have become very popular and the place is almost always crowded, but they have enough tables so it shouldn't be a problem. Great location, with it being located just outside the Yaggahapitiya highway exit.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Amakie located on Kurunegala Dambulla Road, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was welcomed by their friendly staff and the warm ambiance of the cafe.
The manager himself was extremely gracious and accommodating, ensuring that all customers felt comfortable and satisfied. It was evident that customer service was a top priority for them, which made my visit all the more enjoyable.
As a vegetarian, I am often limited in my options when it comes to eating out, but this was not the case here. They had an impressive array of vegetarian dishes that were both delicious and satisfying. It's always a joy to find a place that understands and caters to different dietary needs.
I was impressed with the quality and flavor of the coffee they served. It was evident that they take pride in their coffee offerings, making it a perfect place for coffee enthusiasts like me.

Had a good experience at Cafe Amakie. The brownies and ice cream was exceptionally good but the blueberry cheesecake was not that good. Had a hot chocolate that was okay. The service was good and the staff were helpfull. The atmosphere of the place was also good but it tends to get noisy when crowded.
