We spent our new year evening here and we were going to experience our first ever Sri Lankan cuisine. It was amazing, well served, good food and nice ambiance. The quantity was enough. Over all it was good and economical Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Our tastebuds were humbled by this dining experience. The food is made with love and authenticity, each bite was explosive with flavour and evoked fond memories of our childhood. From the cashew rice to the veg balls. The red sauce and prawn sauce were so good that I flew it back to London with me. The portion size for the noodle dish and pork is enough for 2 people alone. It was by far the best dining experience I had on the island - and we had eaten in many places from Ta'Futti to the restaurants at the Radisson Blu. Moreover, the owners, Carit and Mahendra made us feel like part of their family. Both are friendly, personable and incredibly funny. They took the time to explain the menu in Maltese and English as to what dishes pair well with each other. My favourite was the cashew rice...you must try it! Veg balls on the platter, the semi circled minced beef, the red sauce and prawn sauce, the pork and noodle dish. My only regret is that I didn't get to try the whole menu as I had only discovered it on the last day! We have decided to come back to Malta in October 2024 and eat here regularly. Undoubtedly one of the best Sri Lankan restaurants we have tried in Europe. We were warmly welcomed by Carit and a great hospitality was provided by the entire CADE team. We tried the Sri Lankan platter, yellow rice, black pork curry, Koththu and hoppers. Food was so good and delicious. Overall, We loved the dinner, the ambiance and the service. Highly recommended! Good place to try oriental and traditional sri lankan food. Food was absolutely amazing. As a Sri Lankan , I would easily give this place a 10/10 😉. A new food them hit the Maltese food scene - the first & only Sri Lankan eaterie in Malta. Lovely dining experience in a family friendly environment. The food is superb, tasty & humbly presented. Service is excellent. Professional hospitality at its best by the charming owners who dedicate time to explain what the food consists of, the cultural background and even how it is automatically eaten in Sri Lanka. The food is all fresh, homemade & very well priced. This has been our 2nd visit and definitely not the last. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I had the pleasure of visiting CADE recently to try out their authentic Sri Lankan cuisine, including Kottu and the Sri Lankan platter. It was a quiet weekday noon, allowing us to enjoy a lovely conversation with one of the owner. The food was an absolute delight. The Kottu I longed for was packed with flavor and authenticity.
