I’m giving a table review so buckle up: Service was excellent, they checked up on us, engaged with our questions and all. The venue is really interesting. It has a couple of different rooms and the layout is spread out. Atmosphere was lovely. It wasn’t loud which is always nice and we had quite classical music playing in the background which is good👌🏼 Now the food… I’m afraid to say that the food wasn’t up to expectations. The sea bass wasn’t great, same with the risotto and vegan pasta. The Venison cheeks and beef steak were liked quite a bit. Finally, the deserts were awesome.
Food was very good. Service was very attentive. Edit from second visit: although coming with reservation we were given the worst table next to kitchen door and staff restroom ant the bottom of the restaurant - noisy and smelly place. There should be no table at that corner at all! Thankfully after a compliant we were seated at a nice table on top floor. The food was good. The waiters were nice but a bit untrained- I had to ask for ice and lemon for the gin tonic?! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
For salad we ordered a tasty salad with goat cheese and sour cherry sauce and the salad with burrata cheese. We have also tried the chicken fillet bonbons with crunchy crust. The top of the top however were the desserts, that were delicious. We ordered dessert with mascarpone, lemon and toffee caramel and the chocolate cherry with coulis from amaretto and sour cherry with a very nice pistachio ice cream… Enjoyed the whole experience and definitely recommend this place for a place to eat in Sofia. Don’t waste your time and money on this place. The food is bland, some of the dishes are ridiculously small (the vegetables in their Burrata “salad” consisted of two shavings of mango, several sprigs of arugula and three cherry tomatoes) and not worth the price. It looks like they cannot make their mind about whether they want to be a gourmet place or just a regular restaurant and the results are very disappointing. Service is not bad per se but for some reason the waiter wanted to have us sit in the basement despite the whole restaurant being empty. The food was good, I liked the Schnitzel and salad. We sat outside with a friend and the chairs were heavy and difficult to move/adjust. I also bumped my head twice into the lamp hanging over the table because it's quite low. The menu unfortunately didn't offer almost any vegetarian/vegan dishes which I didn't find very good. The food is good The servce is good but slow, and should be more awareness to the customers. If u sit outside the leaves from the trees outside might fall on u and ur food... So better to sit inside for my opinion Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Nice food. The restaurant is rather dark and not very well decorated. The service was ok.
I liked it, cosy, friendly and light. My friends and I enjoyed the time we spent there for lunch. Food was very good and the service - quick, fresh and very nice to talk to.Would like to go back again. Recommend that tou make a previous reservation and not rely on your good pluck. Devil is in the details!!! Unfortunately Bulgarians are very sloppy in that. The food, the service, the options in the menu, even the hygiene in the bathrooms..all so average. Expectations definitely not met. The duck magret was dry and chewy, the shrimps were super salty and the desserts- absolutely tasteless. Totally not worth the calories. Coffee tasted gross- cheap brand. Kind reminder to the Chef, It's a great skill making mostly non-sense comments on a food show, but being actually able to prepare a good dish requires knowledge, attitude and attention to detail. Thank you for the stomachache!
Solid menu with good selection. The special section Beef Bones took longer than expected to arrive(came when the other had started deserts) and was at best a starter and not a main course. Taste was good. Our table had also pork medallions, Beef , chicken, ans foie gras, deserts All in all very good, but perhaps I did expect a bit more. Perfect score would have been 4.7 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
