As a cocktail addict, when I saw a (kind of) speakeasy bar near from my hotel I jump to it. I came there alone, the calmest evening of the week and it was awesome anyway. The couple of owners are so amazing, passionate that I spent one of the best evening of my life. I discovered some local alcohol and twist of classics cocktails. I met really cool customers too and everybody was in a really nice mood. If you live in this place, you're lucky because you can try and come again often, if not and you're just a tourist, please come in this bar instead of any other in this city. The best cocktail bar in town. Wonderful and friendly staff, super tasty drinks, cool vibe and great music too. It’s the whole package! Caldas is much better now that CV is here.

We visited Cabaret Voltaire for the first time last week. We were greeting by Paulo the owner, what a top guy, So friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area. The cocktails were amazing and the place had a chilled out vibe, We liked it so much that we returned and had another cocktail the day after. When we come back to Caldas Da Rainha, we will definitely be revisiting.

Love the Mixology here. It's been hard for me to find mixed drinks made the right way. The owner and the mixologist are a lot of fun. They made me the drink in the picture, and I think they called it a brain hemorrhage . Gross but delicious ! Besides mixed drinks, there is hard cider, etc.. A newer and updated bar with a small band area. The ambiance is dark but kind of romantic lit. The restrooms were clean and well taken care of. Plenty of seating if you go with a large party, but the place doesn't hold a lot of people. I say this because I am used to the Las Vegas club scene, and places are much smaller in Portugal. This place is very nice. Make sure to check it out and pick a designated driver! I was so excited to find a variety of mixed drinks, I tried quite a few.

What an excellent and friendly place. My husband and I are cocktail people, hailing from Brooklyn, but now living in Lisboa. On a recent trip to Caldas da Rainha, we discovered Cabaret Voltaire. It is extremely hard to find good cocktails in Portugal, let alone Europe. Paulo does a fine job in his new bar/lounge. Everyone can make a mojito or G&T, but Paulo is an expert bartender making those stiff "up" drinks — Manhattans, Martinis, Side Cars, Corpse Revivers, others. We knew we were in the right place when he asked if we wanted the Manhattan perfect. And of course, the rocks drinks were excellent. Nice atmosphere, relaxed. Good jazz playing. Friendly chatting with Paulo, Natasha and their staff. We'll be back.

The owner, Paulo, is a genuine guy who cares about his customers. I ordered the old fashioned and mentioned to the waitress that I love old fashioned’s, I always order them. Paulo came and sat with me to see how I liked my drink (on a busy Saturday night!). I found the drink to have too much water (I was wrong). He made me another the way I like, but he also took the time to let me try the rum. He explained to me that he makes a very smooth old fashioned, and it wasn’t watered down at all. It’s just the rum was extremely smooth! I appreciated his patience and caring for me, a new customer. I this I’ll be coming back.

Went there for the first time after reading great reviews and we weren't disappointed: great atmosphere, super friendly owners and staff and delicious cocktails. We're early birds, so left as the music was starting, which was a pity, as it sounded great as well!

These are by far the best cocktails I’ve ever tried. The prices is more than fair for the quality of the drinks and the effort put in them. The staff is also an absolute 10. The atmosphere is comfortable. I never rate places but these guys deserve it.
