Atmosphere is so warm and cozy it feels like home. The people are friendly and the food is like no other. The combination of unique food choices (Mac and cheese, pulled pork, bbq sauce rolled in a burrito) greens, baked beans, coleslaw, corn pudding, banana pudding who could ask for anything more. I like that I could dine in or choose to take home. Quick convenient and I saw the owner preparing the meat on the smoker as I was leaving. Family owned business. I’ll definitely be back. Always amazing. The staff are very attentive and nice. The food is insanely good! I tried the corn pudding today and it was better than my grandma's! I could seriously eat here every day and since it's within walking distance from my house, that is definitely an option. The prices are really affordable, and the restaurant looks really clean both inside and out. I always try to support new businesses.I look forward to enjoying a new GrillMaster’s skill! So…needless to say how disappointed I was not to taste any rubs on the meat or smoke taste. It was drowned in BBQ sauce with little flavor, as if store brought not original🤨 I order a large Rib Tip dinner and slice of cake which did not taste homemade. The cold slaw was soupy and bake beans were tolerable! Very disappointed in the flavor department. Customer service was great. Due to flavor and presentation, I will not return or recommend! I ordered a New Orleans sandwich, with greens and mac n cheese and Diet Coke via delivery. The sandwich was squished inside aluminum foil thrown in a bag with the can of Diet Coke and 2 small sides that were in styrofoam containers with lids and a bag of chips. This was all inside a black grocery bag mixed together. Ultimately the sandwich was very cold was not able to eat it, the greens were mush and luke warm not edible. The Mac n cheese was Luke warm and very basic. I was only able to enjoy the bag of chips due to poor packaging of the food. Based off of other reviews I was excited to try this place, maybe it’s better dining in. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Service Delivery Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 2

I stopped in to try some bbq while I was home for the holidays and it did NOT disappoint (unlike the places we have up here in New England 😭). My stomach was full and my soul was happy. Greens were outstanding! Street tacos were really good. Pork was sweet, with slaw on top-nod to Memphis bbq. Chicken taco was not as sweet, but favored over pork. Both were quite tasty. Mac and cheese was ok. Service was amazing and so gracious. Great family owned start-up business. If you are coming from the south side, come in on Locust to 19th. Will try the ribs next time.
