Was in the area and decided to stop by and have lunch. I was very pleased with the shop. The shop was busy and everyone was very friendly and the food was great! Not being from Pennsylvania, I didn't know they had more than hotdogs, lol. I was reccomemded to try it from a co worker, and on top of no regrets, I plan to stop again! The food and service was good, a little slower than expected, but standard for the full size restaurant it was. The food is good but how’s this a cheese dog? lol thanks for the smart remark. Maybe you can treat your customers with respect. Just a thought. I still left high stars(not anymore). I was simply just stating there was barely any cheese on there. maybe instead of leaving smart comments to your paying guests that try to give informative reviews you can teach your employees how to put a fair amount of cheese on a hot dog that we are paying for. I heard about this place for quite a while, as we are living out of state, and have been wanting to try it. As someone who has to usually pay $5 - $10 bucks for a hotdog, we were surprised by the prices and how good the hotdogs were. It's a landmark mark and local tradition that we are glad we got to try. The Hot Dog Shoppe has some of the best hotdogs you’ll ever eat! I always have to stop in when I come home! The service is great and all of the workers are so nice!
