À propos
Chinese and Taiwanese food is good at this place. The recipe for success of this restaurant is its nicely cooked spicy beef, spicy soup and broth. After a long working day, you can try good bubble tea, iced green tea or milk tea. Boiling Point is suitable for guests who eat on the go as they can order food as a takeout. The staff is said to be cool here. The professional service displays a high level of quality at this place. A lot of people mention that prices are attractive for what you get. It's a nice place with the exotic atmosphere. This spot is ranked 4.2 within the Google grading system.

Boiling point as always was delicious. I always go there when it's winter or when I need a hot 🔥 meal. We got #1,#2,and #3. For those who do not eat pork, it is possible to sub it for beef. As always, please go there early as the long get even longer after 11 am. The redmond location is even smaller than Bellevue and Renton location. In my first visit, I enjoyed the experience overall. However, as a non-pork eater, I requested a substitution of vegetables and tofu in my seafood pot, and the server mentioned an extra charge. My order without pork included 2 shrimp, 1 squid ring, dried tofu, and lots of cabbage. I noticed other reviews where people received substitutions without an extra charge, which seemed inconsistent. Boiling Point serves good and fresh hot pot under a mini stove at your table. It's particularly satisfying on a winter day. I would recommend coming for lunch because of the slightly reduced prices and added free tea drink (choose between green or black tea that is lightly sweetened). Service and wait time can vary. Weekdays tend to be less busy especially right after opening time and during slower hours. During busier times, it can be hard to get servers' attention and they are less attentive to your party. The menu items are fixed with the exception of add-ons which you can pay extra for. My favorites are the Beef and Japanese Miso. The spiciness can be intense- I can usually tolerate mild spice at other restaurants, but here “mild” was a lot spicier than I’m used to, especially when combined with the heat of the hot pot. My biggest criticism is the lack of customizability. I personally dislike tofu and mushroom and I could not request any replacement for them (e.g. cabbage), which can result in preventable food waste. This was my first time here. I am a vegetarian and I was suspicious of getting a good vegetarian pho at this place. I was so wrong!!! I loved the vegetarian soup and the way it is served over a mini stove to keep it hot the whole time. Even my kids enjoyed it a lot. I loved the sauces they provide on the side. My favorite was the garlic bean paste. The service was exceptional. Everyone paid attention to the customers. I will be back again. Good food bad service. Apparently they don’t allow bringing your own drinks but I had no idea. Walked in with a half empty Starbucks, waited, and seated. They even brought me water and didn’t mention about that policy until I was ready to order. They were so inflexible and forced me to either put my iced drink in a warm car or put in their refrigerator who knows what else is in it? Raw meat maybe. Why wouldn’t they say anything the moment I walked in? I would have walked away. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Great place to get Taiwanese hotpot. The soup and sauces are great. However, the stinky tofu they use here is not authentic. Apparently, it’s not allowed to have fermented tofu made here in US. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Spicy, but good! I like spicy but medium was way over the top for me. Individual hot pots are great as you can order what you want rather than need to share.
So if you're sensitive to spiciness, I would say start with 0 or no spice and then work your way up. 1 (Mild) was more like a medium-high. Also, the regular bowls are enough for 2 people to share, so I would recommend that. Had way too many leftovers for the GF and I. Otherwise, this isn't like other hot pot places I've been to. You order a preset, and then it's brought out. It's not like other places where you order everything and then cook it yourself. And the flame is done for you. So, if you want autonomy, I'd try a different place. Also, I don't recommend the Plum Tea that was featured. It was absolutely horrid. I normally like Plum but ugh. Authentic Asian cuisine. It is essentially a selection of hot pot with pre-mixed ingredients in a variety of different soup base. We've tried various and each is unique in its own taste. This is our first visit to this Redmond branch, about the same seating capacity as the Bellevue branch. The Seattle branch is the largest so far with double the seating capacity and a lot more spacious so you don't feel so cramped beside other tables. Nowadays they give this Lemon QQ (pictured) Jelly at the end of your meal. It's quite a refreshing snack. Both of us had diarrhea from this Redmond branch; first ever food poisoning from Boiling Point. It's unfortunate but we're unlikely to visit this Redmond branch again. Similar to other Boiling Points we have been to. The hot pots are quite good at reasonable prices. Service is efficient and good. Recommended.
