Loved it! The atmosphere, lovely staff, amazing food! We ordered half rack pork ribs, Double Smash Burger and wild garden salad. I am just speechless with the whole experience. Meat just fall off the bone from the ribs and it just melts in your mouth, Burger was so juicy and full of flavour. Just ate here last night & was very impressed. I'm a mad Texan style backyard BBQ nut myself & was hoping to pick up a few ideas & have a great meal. Mission accomplished 😊 The brisket was another level of tender to any low & slow that I have done. I'll need to do more research. Bit depressed about that actually 😭 Tasty pickles were a nice touch. The chicken wings were great. We had sides of potato skins & smoked Caesar salad. Yes I took notes & will totally try to reproduce these for my next Barbie. It may take a few goes. They were great. The atmosphere was a great mix of busy & friendly due to short staffing but the 'joint was jumping' for a Sunday night. This would be a great place for a birthday or work party etc. but also we had a table of 3 and were still able to talk. Thanks for not having the background music loud. I would eat here regularly if I was local. They have used the old Lava Bar building well, with lots of seating and space for everyone to get around. The prices seem expensive In some cases but the food more than makes up for it. This is some of the best food I've had in town, the chicken wings are to die for. Will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends and family. They also do on site catering for events which is nice to know. Lovely staff and lovely business owners. Amazing food and fresh Good quality smoked meats that are tender and not dry. The salad has lettuce and tomatos that are grown on site and are delicious. Definatly earned and their TV Award! And earned a return visit from my party on the same day. We ordered the brisjet which was amazing and the smoked jackfruit for fun. The jack fruit has a texture and flavor extremly similar to real meat. Also had fattiness in which was unexpected. The fries/chips were also amazing with their garlic aioli sauce. Was one of the kiddos birthday and he wanted ribs. Was not disappointed! Food was great, bday boy rated the ribs 30 out 10! The rest of us had a variety of burgers and sides and nothing much left at the end. Dessert was on point too. The kids just loved playing pool and pinball so over all a wonderful evening out! We came in with a group to eat, ordered about half the menu and ate family style, getting a bit of everything. We asolutely loved it all. You can smell the barbecue before you even walk in the door. Everything was amazing. Would highly recommend dipping the fried chicken in the potato and gravy! Ribs were on point, perfect amount of smoke and sauce.
