Every time I have had the Fish it has been amazing, fresh and well sized. The cheese bites are epic and the option of lard or cooking oil is awesome and unique to this place. Go maybe once or twice per month and its good every time. Service is always good.

Beautifully cooked chips, large fish, good portions and good prices. My only feedbback is the fish was just a little greasy...its Fish n Chips afterall, and I definitely recommend them. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

I feel bad posting this but sorry, the food was terrible. Only 1 person working and a half hour wait for food. Ordered $50 worth of food and burgers for 2 adults plus a 5 year old and easily finished the meal. Fish was unbelievable watery, batter was doughy and definitely undercooked. Fish bites were the same. The battered mussel was defrosted in the microwave in front of the customer. Food was only wrapped in a couple sheets and the grease easily went thru the packaging. Burgers tasted ok but very dry, the egg was overcooked so no runny yolk and the patties were the thin frozen supermarket ones. Also include a picture of the Hawaiian burger. I swear this is not doctored, that's how it looked when the lid was lifted. Also note you can almost see the carpet thru the paper Service was fine, unfortunately there needs to be more than good service for me to come back. Service Take out Meal type Dinner

I Ordered 3 burgers and a scoop of chips and waited 45 mins for my food to which cost me $88 which tasted like rubbish the chips were soggy and flavourless, The burgers buns were like cardboard and the patties were very dry, I do not recommend eating here. The quality of the food was ok, even the service was pretty good however, the Potato Fritters were wafer thin, the fish fillets were about 4 inches long our scoop of chips was less than what I could have held in one hand, and we asked for a curry roll and got a vege roll instead. All in all everything tasted fine but the portions were far too small.

Disgusting presentation, not fresh, old food, so small, soggy and tasted gross..what a rip off! Won't recommend or go there again. What a shame this is our local.

I bought fish and chips and a hotdog for 4 people. I have highly rated the food from here in the past but was very disappointed this time. The owners/staff are just fabulous but the fish in particular was dripping in oil this time and very unappetizing. I suspect the issue is that the cooking oil wasn't hot enough so the food soaked up too much oil. @Black Cat Takeaways, please fix this problem. I want to be able to rate you 5 stars again next time. Very nice fish n chips. The chip portions are a little small compared to others but the quality makes up for it. Have tried a few times now since reopening and has always been a great experience. Generally good food but the size of a scoop is pathetic, i ordered wedges and got exactly 17 wedges, if you keep this up you are going to lose your regulars. Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
