We visited Binhs bar a few times when staying nearby on a trip to Cat Ba over the Christmas period. My partner and I ate both chicken burgers (a rare western meal during 6 months of travelling) and local food and we were very content with each meal, especially the burgers. Drinks were very reasonably priced and the pour on the spirits was generous. The owner was very chatty and had great English. Great little bar on the .ain road about 8kms from Cat Ba Town. Easy to get to either by motorcycle or public bus (13,000vnd). Great atmosphere and music. The food was plentiful, hot and very tasty. The beer was cold. The owner Binh is great, speaks excellent English and is helpful and informative. We had such a great evening here playing pool and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are really lovely. I would definitely recommend making the journey out of town to check this place out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The best owner, speaks English. Cheap beer. Good music and live music. Free pool table. Great food. The atmosphere is really friendly and I came for dinner three nights in a row because I loved it so much here and made a lot of friends. Must visit bar when on cat ba, the food portions are very generous. has a pool table and darts board with a very nice fire pit. Owner is an absolute legend and just an overall amazing experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great little spot in Cat Ba! The chicken burger was delicious, I also had a ginger tea which was lovely. They have a really beautiful outdoor setting, as well as a pool table. A very good bar and restaurant on Cat bà Island !! There is good food, special mention for the burger! But what I liked best was the atmosphere of the place, very friendly, you feel right at home. With billiards, a music stage, a dart game, comfortable spaces and even fires if it's cold!
