I'm from Nola but don't live there anymore. I had my expectations and they were high.. But I was also prepared to be disappointed. We stopped here just because it was on the way. Figured we could make up for it later if it wasn't good. BUT IT WAS AWESOME!!! They hit right on the mark!!!! I was blown away! It is now a destination every time we pass through! We stopped to get a to go order of beignets and they had an option of regular style and also glazed with many different flavors. And we could get them in mini size. It was perfect for a road trip snack. They were made fresh, hot and were delicious. The praline pecan and the regular were amazing. I am so glad I found this place! This is a very warm and cozy little shop. They have sooo many different flavors of beingets! And I loved that they also offered them in regular and mini size. The mini size is perfect for kids, sharing, and trying several different flavors. They had an eggnog glazed one (which I'm sure is seasonal) and it is phenomenal! The praline was so good too. My family also enjoyed the blackberry and original. I already can't wait to go back! I highly recommend checking them out if u get a chance.

Way overpriced for the quality and portions of some of the food. The beignets were pretty good but don't expect them to be anywhere close to the quality and taste of Cafe Du Mond e's beignets or you'll be disappointed. The bacon was very tasty and cooked just right for my liking but not worth almost $4 for 4 pieces! The grits were terrible (bland and overcooked) and the rest was OK but nothing you couldn't make better at home. Service was slow considering there was only one other person dining in at the time. After being turned away at la pines noticed this store front location across the lot and so glad we did. The efficient friendly staff seated us and took or coffee order immediately then returned for our breakfast order. The meal arrived quickly with hot beignets rivaling anything in downtown NOLA. Absolute trash. Save your money and go to waffle house. This place is way to expensive to be offering such low quality food. The atmosphere looks as bad as the food was. Stopped in and got some beignets to go!! Really good, freshly made…melt-in-your-mouth!! Clean, family friendly. Loved chatting with the owner! Definitely worth a stop!
