Living in Faja da Ovelha we went on a routine walk down to Paul do Mar but this time was for a birthday dinner. We tried The Beach Bar for the first time, and glad we did. The service was great, Ridvan was awesome and recommended great fish dishes. The food was really good local dishes, honest to the location.

Very nice view for the sunset!! It’s nice that they have a vegan menu and the staff was very friendly. I wouldn’t go there again for dinner. But for drinks and the view for sure. It would have been great if the food had more taste like a nice dressing with the salad or some spices on the veggies or something simple that gives flavour like onions/ garlic with the grilled veggies. Anyway it’s nice that they’re trying 🌱
Best Seaside Restaurant in Paul do Mar! It is a great pleasure to enjoy delicious food with amazing ocean views. We really liked the food we ordered, the prices were reasonable. I would like to especially mention the owner of the restaurant, Rosa. I assure you, her hospitality and smile will not leave anyone indifferent! At The Beach Bar - Restaurant, I highly recommend you try the most delicious Grilled Limpets (called Lapas) in Madeira. Also be sure to order the homemade Pink Lemonade, it is very tasty and refreshing. Honestly, we were very pleased with the service, the food and the unforgettable view of the ocean from the terrace. The service was very friendly and warm. The view from the restaurant is great! And there are a lot of vegetarian options. We had the garlic bread, summer salad and Pizza. It was all very delicious, we can definitely recommend.

It was such an amazing spot for our last dinner on the island! Delicious food, especially octopus sandwich! I couldn't resist and ordered one more. They were so kind to offer my friend a taste of octopus to make a choice for her dinner. Mojito is the best on the island along with the breathtaking view from the terrace with an ocean breeze and good music! 10 out of 10!

My review comes out a bit late, but we will never forget this place! We visited in May 2022, and we promised our feedback. Unfortunately we were a bit late and we took our order away. It was still really delicious even for take away! We enjoyed our conversation with Louis (great English speaker by the way) and greatly appreciate the service. Really enjoyed our evening on the top terrace during sunset. There is a lot of choice on the menu and even an extensive vegan/vegetarian section. Absolutely lovely restaurant!
