Battambang Town Restaurant is a great place to try traditional Cambodian cuisine. I highly recommend the beef stew and loklak. Both dishes were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The prices are also very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant in Battambang province! The cook doesn't know how to cook stir fry chicken with ginger, the used cooked chicken with soy sauce to make the dishe, very bad! ម្ជូរគ្រឿងត្រី is even terrible they used frozen fish that already smell the freezer burn and costed me $10! The worse is that the soy sauce have cockroach in the bottle 🥺 Hopefully this review will help others not to wasted the hard-earned money at this place. I was much impressed by the architecture of the White Rose restaurant, but decided not to go there, given my experience with restaurants catering to tourists. I came to this one across the street instead, and I am glad that I did. I ordered beef brisket stew with bread. It had big chunks of beef was delicious! What is nice about this place is that they give you a pot of tea without extra cost. The wait staff seemed to be underage, though. I guess this is a reality that many Cambodians have to accept. The country is still very poor. Hopefully foreign tourists could make a little contribution so that the next or more likely the one after next generation of adolescents would not have to work.

Great, clean local restaurant with great prices and attentive staff. Try the roasted duck and the duck dumpling soup. Delicious!

Terrible pork stir fry with inedible and tough - to - chew lemon grass. Staff was polite but we had to call them several times to get their attention. Our Khmer sour soup was okay and our vegetarian friends enjoyed their vegetable soup. Fried rice was oily, small portion for its price. Be aware that they place a packaged dessert on the table and you will be charged if you mindlessly open and eat it.

I went several times, it doesn't have so much menus to choose. However, the foods, noodles, are very delicious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The foods order seem to be a bit late like 15 minutes at last, this is because of so many customers. Highly recommend for breakfast ( a bit crowded), lunch and dinner there. 😉. I'd like to recommend to ask the staff about the most popular order and the most delicious. A pleasant place for meal. It is clean, nicely arranged, in good location of corner with large space for parking. My breakfast here was perfect with the neighboring coffee shop that you can order any type of drinks and drinks of different flavors.

Fried rice with vegetables was good and they serve tea for free which is very nice but the duck was not good. Only bones no meat at all.. Prices are too high for what you get.
