The food had great taste and the portion is big. The big minus here is the ventilation. My clothes smells like cooking oil even after 2 days. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The pies are not tasty :( and pretty expensive. Also if you wanna take to go, it coast expensive for the plastic box. p.s. It’s much tastier pies at “La Bunika” Strada Nicolae Iorga 2 Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person lei 20–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

It s a tad tricky to find (you can miss it if you don t pay attention to the somewhat-hidden-by-the-greenery sign...). Plenty of options for meals, loved the antique decorative pieces. Really don t go for the dim lights when eating (are the plates not clean enough? Is there something you don t want your customers to see? ) Regardless of the minor downsides, I still recomend it for lunch (or, better yet, dinner-- considering the dim lighting 🤭) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person lei 40–60 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

English-speaking staff, great traditional Romanian dishes: placinta and papanasi can make your trip to Baia Mare even more delicious. The prices are not that high as for a very popular place, among locals too. Be careful not to miss it because it's a tiny restaurant with no special signs outside. You can enter it from the side of a nearby park, there are always some people sitting by the wooden tables outside :) I would definitely go there again.

If you go around 20:00 - 20:30 and expect to spend nice moments is quite "risky"! The waiters are telling you that the kitchen will be closed soon (if you want to eat there is a problem of MENU / assortments and somebody starts taking the chairs from the empty tables - thanks God - but making a lot of noise). I think that the management should educate better his employees. I would never go back there!!! Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

You have to try the Pie!!! It's delicious. The place ia cozy and staff is friendly and nice.
