This was the dark horse winner of our entire trip! We ate here every morning for breakfast and several times for lunch and dinner. Everything we ate was terrific. The acai Bowl and the pizzas were amazing. If I had to pick a little, I'd say to confirm the description on the menu matches what is served. We noticed inconsistencies with the actual item vs the menu descriptions, but for us it didn't matter much. Our first time here after many of trips to Cabo! You won't be disappointed - from the moment you walk in to walking out!!! SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH, FOOD AND DRINKS to die for. I own two restaurants and wish I had the staff this place has..... wow just wow! We will become tourists regulars that's a promise now!!! Orlando was our server he was sooo amazing! Didn’t skip a beat, thank you so much for making the end of our trip so amazing! Ended with a night cap, espresso, martini!! Party in your mouth so amazing Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an excellent experience! The food was fabulous. We started with the Burratta in a vinaigrette that left us wanting another order! The pizza was very good, ate too quickly and forgot to photograph! Lastly the drinks were good, nice and substantial, not watered down. I would go again on my next trip! Went for Valentine's dinner in a group of 8. Took our order to only come back and tell us the pizza oven is broken. And there is no catch of the day, but the can give us Rainbow trout. WHAT??? I didn't come to Cabo to have a lake fish from the Midwest. And then the didn't have the Cajun tuna also was not available. The waiter should have known all of this. Table had 3 bottles of a well over priced wine, to only have them tell us they are out of that wine, but they had a comparable one for 30 us more. the musician was good, but we won't be going back there ever!! Yummy and friendly! Definitely stop in if you're thinking about it. The staff were incredibly friendly, even talked to us about how the salsa was made. We just wandered in and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee was some of the best I've had all around. Loved everything about it and want to come back for a dinner experience. Pricing was typical to high but we've learned that's to be expected around here so can't complain. We have eaten here for years and always considered it to be one of our favorite restaurants but we ate there the other night and I am compelled to warn others about what we experienced. First of all, we made a reservation in advance and received a call the day of the reservation to confirm, as well. When we spoke with them, we told them a child was in our party. When we showed up, they told us that they had gotten rid of the entire kid menu and could not accommodate even the most simple request for a cheese quesadilla or butter noodles! I had to buy my child a 480 peso “gourmet” burger that was totally inedible; more on that later. Both of the times we confirmed our reservation someone at the restaurant, they failed to mention that their pizza oven was broken. Mind you, the pizza is about 1/3 of their menu and the entire reason why people go there in the first place. We decided to stay and eat anyway because we like the place and figured we would try other things. The food took over an hour to arrive at our table. The burgers were so dry and overcooked that not even the most undiscerning person in my party would eat it! I got the mussels and they were totally inedible; I actually had to spit out the first 3 I ate because they were all rotten!! That’s where I drew the line and had to write this review because if they don’t make some big changes quickly, someone is going to get really sick and end up in the hospital…if they haven’t already. Bar Esquina ambiance was immaculate, with a great design. Prices are highly inflated, clearly taking advantage of the majority of American tourists visiting. The food was uneventful, mediocre at best. When you pay $30 dollars for a burger, it should, at the very minimum, blow you away. Beautiful atmosphere. Amazing food. Live music. Great drinks! My girls and I ordered a little of everything and it was all AMAZING!! Yellowtail ceviche, arugula salad, burrata salad, fish board, caesar salad, lobster rolls, truffle oil pizza... it was all so good!!

Last year while on our wedding venue site tour, my then fiancé and I came across the bustling bar with a beautiful dining room that we adored. And then, after having the best lamb pappardelle I had ever tasted I knew we had to come back. I never imagined we would somehow incorporate them into our wedding weekend. Nearly a year later, we decided to have our rehearsal dinner at Bar Esquina and we are so happy we did. Nishme, our sales manager, handled us with care and ensured everything was perfect.. From the menu selection, to arrival even down to the beautiful flowers they hand delivered to us upon arrival. Not to mention, the magical serenade by Chaplin toward the end of our dinner. Bar Esquina is a must visit while in Cabo, and if it's just 2 of you, don't miss a chance to sit at the bar. This is an amazing gem! Thank you to everyone who helped ensure our wedding rehearsal was everything we needed.
